Alhamdulillah, we performed Umrah in October and booked with Zam Zam Travels with only three weeks’ notice. They efficiently arranged everything for our group of 14, including Umrah visas with health insurance, and were patient and helpful with all our questions. Our guide, Brother Abu Ubaydah Amir, was extremely knowledgeable and supportive throughout the journey. The tours of historical sites in Makkah and Madinah were well organized and informative, with thoughtful consideration for the heat and children in our group. Accommodation was excellent — Swissotel Makkah was a very short walk to the Haram, and Elaf Al Taqwa in Madinah was just minutes from Al Masjid an-Nabawi, with nearby food options that were great for families. Overall, a well-organized, spiritually enriching experience. Highly recommend Zam Zam Travels.

We travelled for Umrah in December peak season with my family, including my elderly mother who was performing Umrah for the first time, so naturally I was very cautious. Booking flights and hotels separately was proving extortionate, especially with direct flights on Skyscanner. I was advised that Zam Zam Travels are one of the most reputable agencies in Birmingham, so I approached them and I’m so glad I did. From the outset, the service was fantastic. I dealt with Fahim in Birmingham, who was professional, reassuring, and extremely knowledgeable. Not only did the package work out cheaper than booking everything separately, but it also included direct flights and genuine 5 star hotels, which gave us complete peace of mind. In Makkah, we stayed at the Swiss Hotel Al Maqam, literally within walking distance of the Haram, an absolute blessing when travelling with children and an elderly parent. In Medina, we stayed at the newly refurbished Elaf Taiba Hotel, which was around 60 seconds from the gate of Masjid Nabawi, an unbeatable location. Communication throughout was excellent. A special mention to Sharif, who went above and beyond to help us with the Umrah visa fingerprint process. The app was extremely slow, and we needed fingerprints for the whole family, Sharif patiently spent over an hour in the shop ensuring everything was completed properly. His help was invaluable. Transport was another highlight. We were provided with GMCs and Suburbans for transfers between hotels, Medina, Jeddah, and for all Ziyarahs. This added a real element of luxury to the trip and made travelling with kids and my mother incredibly comfortable. In Makkah, Brother Mahmood was absolutely amazing. My children adored him, he even held my son’s hand throughout Tawaf while I focused on supporting my mother. He is kind, full of life, and genuinely cares. I cannot recommend him highly enough. In Medina, Brother Afsar provided excellent service. He was respectful, mature, and extremely helpful throughout our stay another fantastic representative of Zam Zam Travels. For Ziyarahs in both cities, Zam Zam were very accommodating. Due to having young children and my elderly mum, we did not climb Jabal al Noor or Mount Uhud, but we still visited all the key sites and completed everything comfortably and at our own pace. Overall, I would highly recommend Zam Zam Travels to anyone looking for a hands-off, stress free Umrah experience. If you want direct flights, excellent 5 star hotels, luxury transport, and outstanding service, look no further. This was an unforgettable experience for our family, and we will definitely be booking with them again. May Allah reward the entire Zam Zam Travels team.

I have just recently returned from Umrah on the August 7-17th package with Zam Zam travels. The initial stage of the booking stage went very smoothly with Sharif Bhai. We were informed of everything well and was kept up to date with the whole booking process as well as receiving all documents required for the trip. On arrival to Jeddah we were received by Brother Mahmud who had fully supported us throughout our journey and Afsar Bhai in Medina. Both tour guides are very knowledgeable and approachable and helped us understand the key historical sites. The ziarats in both Makkah and Medina were organised well and were very informative. During our trip, some of my family members were very sick and required to see the doctors which Afsar Bhai took us to be seen as well as providing us with a home cooked meal which was very kind of him. The whole umrah process went very smoothly and we had no concerns through our time. We were able to dedicate our time on our prayers. This has truly been an unforgettable trip, their kindness, knowledge and dedication to ensure we had a smooth journey is much appreciated.
