My experience with Al-Makkawi and Brother Arif for Umrah with my family in December 2025 was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we booked to arrival, the trip was flawlessly organised, with every detail carefully planned, making the entire journey smooth and stress-free. Brother Arif and his team were with us throughout the journey from departure to arrival back in the UK. The group leaders, Brother Arif and his Family/team, provided continuous support throughout the trip. We received timely updates for the trip, hotels, transfers, and ziyarah etc. A dedicated WhatsApp group facilitated smooth communication with both the group leaders and members. Emergency contacts were provided. The hotel details in the package were accurate and conveniently located near the harem. Brother Arif's commitment to both the logistical and spiritual aspects of the trip truly stood out. Not only were the travel arrangements handled seamlessly, but the deep Islamic knowledge shared throughout the journey also enriched the experience. Me and my family felt a real connect which made this Umrah truly memorable for both me and my family. A special thank you to the team for making sure every aspect of the trip was taken care of (visa, flights, transfers, luggage, coach, hotel, and guided tours), allowing us to focus on the spiritual significance of the pilgrimage. 5 Stars all round and truly recommended. Will be using them again Inshallah.

An Outstanding and Deeply Spiritual Umrah Experience. Our Umrah trip organized by Brother Aref was exceptional from beginning to end. It was a beautifully planned journey that combined spiritual growth, historical learning, and a warm sense of community. We felt a powerful connection to the global Muslim Ummah—over two billion strong—as we witnessed Muslims from every background united in worship in the holiest places on earth. Visiting Makkah and Madinah left a lasting impact on us, especially as we reflected on the sacrifices of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions in spreading the message of Islam. The itinerary was rich and meaningful. We visited key historical sites, learned about the path of Hajj, prayed at the Prophet’s Mosque, and visited the graves of Ahl al‑Bayt, the companions, and the martyrs. A special highlight was praying at Quba Mosque, knowing the great reward associated with it. Brother Aref’s organization was outstanding. He managed a group of families and children with patience, care, and attention to detail. His efforts ensured that everyone felt comfortable, supported, and spiritually uplifted throughout the journey. We also extend our gratitude to the Makkawi family in Makkah for their warm hospitality and generosity, which truly reflected the noble character of the people of the Haram. As-salamu alaykum. I just wanted to add a review regarding our beautiful Umrah trip to Makkah & Madina on the 21st October 2025 with Al-Makkawi Travel. Despite a few personal requests regarding our bespoke trip to Dr Arif, he went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. He was so attentive and considerate to our requests and this made our Umrah trip even more enjoyable. From the moment we booked to the moment we departed, we were looked after by Dr Arifs team. The Hotels were exquisite in both Makkah & Madina and only a few steps away from the Kaba and Masjid Al-Nabawi and Ziyarath was so informative. My dad will only travel with Al-Makkawi Travel and recommended we do too, absolutely thankful we did.
