Food was amazing alhamdullilah. 150 riyals per person for the buffet for sahur/iftar. Honestly with the AMOUNT of options given it was so worth it. This was amazing. We had a great time. The room was clean and the staff were nice. It's also not far from the Haram. Considering this is a 4-star hotel, it feels like it should be 5 stars. Although we met some people in the hotel who had a bit of attitude, overall it didn’t change the rating. The food was great. There was a lot of food and desserts for suhoor (in Ramadan). I also can’t believe it’s a hotel — it’s big and very nice. The bed was comfortable and the couch was comfortable too. The hotel also has a kids' play area, and there are services for men and women, including massage, hair, and nail services, which was very nice. Read less

I had a very pleasant stay at Sheraton Makkah Jabal Al Kaaba Hotel and would gladly recommend this hotel to other travellers visiting Makkah. Although the hotel is located on a slightly hilly area, I did not find this to be an issue at all. In my opinion, the proximity to Masjid Al Haram is excellent with an approximately 5–10 minute walk depending on pace. I also noticed that there is a covered bridge connecting the hotel area to Masjid Al Haram. During my stay, the bridge was temporarily closed, possibly due to ongoing works around Masjid Al Haram, but once fully operational, it will certainly make access even more convenient. The hotel has around 10 elevators which is very efficient during peak times before prayer hours when many guests are heading to Masjid Al Haram simultaneously. This made moving in and out of the hotel smooth and well-managed. The service quality was excellent throughout my stay. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. A particularly impressive gesture was receiving an international follow-up phone call from a hotel staff member today 21 December 2025, checking on my condition and asking about my stay experience. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name clearly, but I truly appreciated the effort to personally follow up with a guest after check-out. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. We stayed at Saja Al Madinah in February 2025 for a week, and it truly ranks among the best hotels we’ve experienced in Madinah. From our room, we had a beautiful view of Mount Uhud and the main roads of the city. One of the most convenient features was the side exit, which opened directly into the grand street leading straight to Masjid of RasoolAllah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Aalihi wa Sallam). It took barely 1–2 minutes to reach the ladies’ section of the mosque, an incredible blessing. Alhamdulillah. The hotel service was generally good, though we occasionally had to remind the housekeeping staff more than once for room cleaning. Still, considering it’s one of the older and more established hotels in the area, the overall comfort and experience made up for it. One thing I wouldn’t recommend, however, is including their breakfast in your package. The buffet doesn’t quite justify the price, you can easily find better, more affordable options at nearby food spots. Another plus was the availability of useful amenities right next door including laundry shops and a pharmacy. Just came back from 2-week-long Umrah trip. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is very close to harram Nabawi. You can come back between the prayers and take a quick shower or nap if you need it. The rooms are very clean and the hotel constantly smells very pleasant. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I have to specifically mention about the morning shift of the restaurant and their amazing server Islam because they truly deserve to be mentioned and remembered. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We also have a nice partial Haram view, which is a bonus. The location is superb, with just a short 3-minute walk to the Haram.
