Tons of options and variety every single night with top notch service. Location is also great. Takes about 4 mins to walk to the haram (near the extension, I used to go to gate 66 which was very close). Just walk straight through Hilton convention hotel for the quickest route. But they even have a free shuttle service to get you to the haram which literally runs all day and night at every 5 minutes. Literally, every 5 minutes. Read less

The hotel location is perfect and very convenient, especially for getting around easily. That said, don’t expect a perfect Haram view it’s good to manage expectations there. The buffet staff were kind and helpful, and service was smooth. A couple of things worth noting for future guests: • Zain mobile network does not work well inside this hotel, so it’s not worth purchasing if you’re staying here. • If you’re hoping for early check-in, be aware that there is an extra fee. This is my second stay at the DoubleTree Makkah hotel….. First one was in October 2024 and it was a positive experience, my second stay was in August 2025, and it wasn’t the same as my first one DoubleTree is a new and comfortable hotel. The team is cooperative, kind, and welcoming, which is something that truly stands out compared to many other hotels in Makkah. However, there are a few important areas that require improvement: 1. Mattresses: The mattresses are extremely soft, which is quite unusual for a newly opened hotel. It raises the question — how did the mattresses lose their firmness so quickly? Unfortunately, this caused back pain during our stay. 2. Housekeeping & Cleanliness: We stayed for 6 nights, and during that time, the bed sheets and duvet covers were never changed. Housekeeping standards need to be raised significantly. Even basic cleaning such as vacuuming the floor was not done during our stay. 3. Breakfast: The breakfast is boring and repetitive, with almost no variation day to day. There’s no interesting food presentation or appealing options. The quality is quite basic, and no premium items are offered at all. It got to the point where my children decided not to eat breakfast, and my husband and I would skip it if we were tired, as it simply wasn’t worth waking up for. Despite these points, the hotel remains comfortable, and the price is reasonable compared to other hotels in Makkah. I highly recommend booking through a Saudi travel agency, as their prices are significantly better than what is available on hotel booking websites. 4. Panda Supermarket: A major convenience is that there is a Panda supermarket accessible directly from the hotel lobby. This was extremely useful, as we didn’t need to go out to other supermarkets near the Haram. You can easily do your shopping right from the hotel, which adds great value to the stay. 5. Hotel Towers: The hotel consists of two towers — Makkah Tower and Madinah Tower. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend choosing the Madinah Tower over the Makkah Tower. It was more for better view ⸻ Tips for Accessing the Haram: It is advisable to head to the Haram 45–60 minutes before prayer time. The hotel offers a shuttle bus that runs for about 3 minutes and drops you near the elevator of Souq Al-Khalil in the Jabal Omar area. From there, it’s a short walk to the Haram via Ibrahim Al-Khalil Street. Another and in my opinion better route is to enter the Hilton Convention Hotel, which is opposite DoubleTree. From the Hilton lobby, there is a direct elevator access to the Haram. We promised to make up for our terrible experience by booking in a prestigious high profile hotel, our choice was Hilton Double Tree Jabal Omar. Location: Was great all in all compared to other hotels, it’s approximately 500 meters away from the haram. Rooms: Our room was pretty pristine and clean, so dirt was to be found, the beds and sheets were spotless. The view from the windows was mesmerizing. Service: Service was great, no complaints at all. The staff are very attentive to the needs of the guests. Restaurant: Food was palatable and good, but nothing special. It does lack variety, it could use more protein. The negative thing here is that there's a constant stench from the drainage holes in the bathrooms, it's very disgusting. It's a short walk to the Haram and the hotel pro ides a bus shuttle to convey the elderly as well. The shuttle isn't reliable however and clients have to join the shuttle for the nearby Marriot and Hilton hotels. It would be good if the management can work harder on the housekeeping service and the rooms aren't exceptionally cleaned by the staff. I'm not even sure the housekeeping staff use an hoover there's dirt on the floor. I had to request a room change due to cleanliness. Y Read less

Stayed at Pullman Zamzam Madinah from 13/02/26 to 16/02/26 with my family (one room for four persons). It is a very family-oriented hotel and the location is excellent—very close to Masjid A Nabawi, which made visiting the mosque very easy and convenient. A very helpful service was the bus provided for women to reach the specific gates designated for them to enter the mosque. This made the visit much more comfortable for our family. The stay was pleasant overall. One suggestion for improvement would be to have a sound system in every room connected to Masjid Nabawi so guests can listen to the prayers from their rooms. Overall, it was a very good experience and a great choice for families visiting Madinah. Read less

Due to the airspace closure, the Duty Manager kindly granted us a 25% discount, which was a very generous and understanding gesture during a difficult situation. We had a wonderful stay at Pullman Zamzam Hotel in Madinah. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The housekeeping staff were efficient, polite, and always ready to help. Breakfast and dinner were both amazing – a huge selection of dishes, all fresh and delicious. The desserts were truly out of this world! My father and I had a mixed bag of experiences at this hotel but ended up happy with the stay. When we arrived at the location we were told that there were no rooms at the upper floors. We were given a third floor room that hadn't properly been cleaned. We were then offered a room of the same size on the eighth floor... So obviously they didn't offer the best room to us in the first place. Another problem was that after extending for one day the hotel repeatedly called us insisting that we hadn't paid. It turned out it was a fault in their system. Finally, despite making booking for 2 people, the hotel said only one person could attend breakfast. How, in a room for 2, can you say only one person could attend breakfast? Now, despite all these problems the hotel staff did provide quick solutions and were courteous and apologetic. On the final day the hotel manager called us personally and went above and beyond in apologizing and providing us with ample time to check out. The room itself was not particularly stellar. The beds were fine and I appreciated the complimentary fruits, sweets, water and utilities like iron table, prayer rug, and so on. The bathroom could be better as I really don't like open showers. The roof floor restaurant and the staff working there are excellent. The best thing about this hotel is obviously the location. You can't beat it. Read less

My family and I found the beds in the twin room in the executive suite were extremely soft. I literally was in pain sleeping in that bed. 😞 We found writing and scrabbles on the lamp in the living room, marks and scratches on the wall. More work needs to go into this hotel. Despite having checked in online we waited in the queue and finally when it was our turn we were told that the room was not prepared and to wait for 30 more minutes. After waiting for an hour. We were brought to the dirtiest room ever. Dust everywhere. The coffee machine promised was not there. We are 4 adults yet the amenities were for a single person. Despite calling for water and amenities for hours, they ARE NOT RESPONDING! I AM HERE RIGHT NOW and even after complaining to their so called managers, none of them leading me to the real one, they are just making empty promises and doing nothing Please everyone, prefer a 1 star over this one. Trust me you would get better service and cleanliness there for the best price. I am literally being humiliated here for paying such a large amount of money. I have rated this hotel five stars based on earlier experience as I was impressed by the hotel service and the kindness of the staff, in addition to the newness of the hotel and its great location. However, based on my new experience I have taken two stars as it did not meet my expectations this time. The rooms’ furniture deteriorated, and so is the service especially from the reception. We asked for a room upgrade, and were told that no rooms were available although it was obvious that this was not the case, and rooms were available on the Booking. I had to speak to the shift manager to get the room upgrade. The breakfast arrived cold and did not meet the request. The laundry services are very expensive even by hotels’ standard. I am keeping the three stars for two reasons: - the swift response from the shift manager and his kindness in changing the room in a very short time. - the kindness of the housekeeping staff, especially, Suhail Rana. The service is quicker and more courteous towards whites compared to others. Though they may have been in the line behind others or at the table,observed this more than once.
