The rooms are always well-maintained, the check-in process is smooth, and the staff consistently go above and beyond to make my stays enjoyable. I would especially like to recognize Monir Yousuf from the restaurant staff for his outstanding service. He is always professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We recently stayed at the Hilton convention in February, just before Ramadan. Let’s be clear- This is not 5 star by any means. Maybe a solid 4 star The positives are that the breakfast is great (at breakfast, Aktaruzzaman was attentive and lovely!). Also that the cleaning and food service staff are friendly and happy to help. The location is good ( just a small uphill walk that can be tiring but still very close) The partial view from our room of the haram was enjoyable. The negatives are; The main desk staff can often be busy as there have only ever been two available at a time- so it takes longer to be seen. They can sometimes be a-little rude. The phone in our room wasn’t working - I asked if it could be replaced but it didn’t happen. The iron wasn’t working but that was surprisingly replaced quickly when asked. The kettle didn’t work always. Some of our plugs also didn’t work in our room and made a crackling sound when used. Our room had some small bits that also needed fixtures like the cracked light shade in the bathroom or the tear in the lamp (maybe I’m being picky but if you call yourself 5….) Read less

The hotel is immaculately clean, peaceful, and perfectly located just a few minutes’ walk from the Haram – making it ideal for anyone visiting for Umrah or Hajj. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, with breathtaking views of the Holy Mosque. The overall atmosphere is calm and respectful, which made our spiritual journey even more meaningful. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to MD Parvez from housekeeping. He always greeted us with a warm smile and ensured that our room was spotless and well-stocked every day. His kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed. A special mention also goes to Yousef Abu Alqasim, a breakfast waiter who truly made our mornings brighter. We booked breakfast as well, and I must say there were so many varieties to choose from, and your plate was never empty. It was delicious. I also ordered room service for my son, who only has English food and didn't want to take him out to feed him, but me and my husband and I enjoyed our traditional foods outside. Room service food was a delight, and my son really enjoyed it. They also rang to get feedback, which I thought was very nice. The chick in procedure could take a while as for some new guests should confirm about parking is included in there stay or not. One thing that they should have done is there was no security guard to guide for parking in basement and there is a slope at the parking entrance which whole entering during the day is not much visible, I would like if the hotel came with a solution for that. In addition, our deluxe view room also has a view of the Grand Mosque so that we can monitor the situation to make sure whether the call to prayer has been called or not. According to my family this room is perfect. The hotel service is very good, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious, especially the Falafel which has a savory taste. In the afternoon and evening, we went to the lounge for Afternoon Tea and dinner. The dinner is very good, especially if there is rice. For the distance to the mosque, it is close but too uphill so the feet get sore easily. Basically, it's the best here! Read less

Absolutely amazing stay and brilliant service! In-detail review below: Check-In Experience 5/5 We were a family of 5 (Adults) and we checked in around 12.30am and the hotel lobby was quiet. Luggage was offloaded by the staff and taken inside and was told to check-in at the reception. Was greeted well and I provided by booking details to the receptionist. He was very attentive and answered any questions I had. As we had two rooms booked, he asked if we would like to have the rooms on the same floor. Paid the remainder of the rooms via credit card which went smoothly. Took around 10 minutes for the whole check in process which was very good. Rooms 4/5 Rooms were perfect and clean. We were given a 4-bed room for 3 of us which was ample. and a 2-queen bed for the ladies. View was partial haram which was good. Some amenities listed on Booking.com were not present such as the slippers and bathrobe but we weren't too concerned about these. Only given 4/5 for this because someone else might require these amenities and if they are listed they should be provided but weren't big of a deal for us. Also one out of the two rooms booked did not have any drinks or snacks in the mini fridge although the other room did. Laundry Service 5/5 Quick and efficient and offered us free ironing and folding which are usually charged. Could not complain about this service as it was perfect as you'd expect. Customer Service 5/5 Calls from the room landline were answered immediately and always helpful on the other side. All queries answered thoroughly. Shuttle Service 4/5 24-Hour shuttle is a good service to provide, however was not as expected as it only takes you to the flat part near the shops at the bottom. Does not take you the front of the marbled area of the masjid. So you still need to walk around 4-5 minutes to get to the marbled area. Sometimes takes very long to come especially in the late night hours between 1 and 4am. Read less

I was booked at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel and when I arrived in Makkah I was transferred to the Hilton Convention Hotel without prior notice or a letter stating that the hotel will be changed. I had to wait in the lobby of the hotel for three hours after a long travel trip under the pretext that my reservation information had not been transferred from the first hotel (Double Tree) even though the hotel had been booked a whole week in advance. I just want to notice that it will be my first and last experience of this bad hotel The rating on the reservation sites page and Google Maps will be poorly rated + never mention this place to anyone Regards , Read less

Housekeeping staff member Palash was also very sincere and dependable, making sure our room was perfectly maintained every day. The hotel offered free breakfast and dinner buffets, and both were excellent with a great selection of food. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and hospitality were outstanding. I absolutely loved the location. Right outside the Haram gate #305. My mum & family loved the easy access to Haram and they could and would go every time they get a chance due to the ease of access. The room were also a decent size. The staff from reception to couple of the bell boys as well the cleaner Mr. Suboj & receptionist Mr. Haris were very helpful. They were also able to accommodate my request for a late checkout at 2pm. In terms of the negatives, I feel the toilets were too small & congested. The beds & pillows were very comfortable and I sometimes struggled to sleep as a result. Overall, I think it’s a great underrated property despite being ranked as a 3* but the facilities were good and the location was superb. I think the price could’ve been cheaper though as I paid a fair bit for it maybe because I booked very last minute. Read less

Housekeeping maintained the room to the highest standard throughout my stay. One of the most memorable aspects was the breathtaking view of the Green Dome of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Mosque, a truly spiritual and serene sight. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious and well-prepared options to start the day. The location is absolutely ideal, just a short walk from Masjid Al-Nabawi, which made attending prayers and exploring the area incredibly convenient. I will definitely be returning on future visits to Madinah, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mysk Al Balad to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay close to the heart of the city. I'd like to highlight Brother Suhail, the restaurant supervisor, an exceptionally kind and welcoming person. He made a point to visit every table, checking in to see if everything was okay or if anyone needed anything. Most importantly, he always had a warm smile on his face. We had a great stay at Mysk Al Balad. The hotel is clean, modern, and just a short walk to the Prophet’s Mosque — especially convenient for women’s and elderly persons. It’s right opposite to Gate No. 305 and Prophet’s Rawadah. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, close to shops and restaurants. Perfecto! I just visited with my wife and daughter to this hotel and it was very pleasant and enjoyed stay to this hotel even though we were mostly in Masjid Nabawi. The reception is very helpful and we were allowed to the early checkin (1 hour earlier). The location supperb just take a walk 5 minutes to the Haram Masjid Nabawi. The team is very helpfull as well without command they bring my bagage drop and pick up the goods until my room and vice versa. If any chance for sure will come back to this hotel. Read less

At first we had an issue with the view at the room we stayed at and that was the only annoying thing but after speaking to the staff and explaining our situation, the staff was so nice to help us out!!! You can tell that they really care about their visitors! A special thanks to Taher, Sobuj and Sumon for their kindness, help and service! Another big thank you to the kind staff member who knew that I loved drinking apple juice and always brought it to my table from the kitchen even if it was not available in the dining room simply because he remembered who I was. We spent in this hotel for 10 days with my wife in February. The restaurant service was excellent, especially Big Thanks for Suhail. It has been taken care of us when we had flu on the fifth day stayed. he made us remedy ginger, lemon, and honey without asking, and he knew if his clients needed it . The terrible case this hotel was, I had issues with the digital key cards. I don't understand why they didn't realize it and fix it right away since the first issue. It will be fine for us if only one or three times problems, but the big matter was, from the 10th floor, I had to go down and up to the front Desk total 17 times in ten days stayed just to asked them to fix or reactivate it. It's seems they ignored the problem.Also, the last three days of stayed, I asked one of the hotel stuff managers (forgot his name) to switch another room. But he refused it. The best thing about this hotel it so close to Haram. But, if I had issues like this, it made distance away far and late to do on time jama'ah... Read less

Room service was great, but the receptionists were terrible. My daughter was having a terrible headache so I called the front desk and asked for an ice pack. An ice pack. They did not have one. So I was like, fine, do you at least have ice? Apparently they don’t have ice either. My husband had to go to the pharmacy near the hotel to get my daughter an ice pack. He complained at the front desk and left to go get her the ice pack. When he came back to the room, his key card didn’t work. They literally disabled his key card. Also, besides that, rooms were tiny. We got a room with four twin sized beds and the window was literally A fourth of the wall. We didnt get a good view or anything but whatever. Bathroom was tiny, you couldn’t really move around comfortably. But room service was great, always cleaned properly and everything. Read less

Abu Shaheen in concierge arranged transport for me and my family at cost price. Beat all other quotes. He ensured all bags was duly collected from our room and loaded in the minibus. Anything you need just ask, another concierge person told me where to buy dates at a good price. I probably saved 400 SAR. So overall amazing hotel and service I am definitely rebooking them again insha allah. Read less

Restauran food are very good..A lot of variety you can choose.. only no coffee or tea provided during lunch and dinner. Staff very friendly. Alot of shop lot around the hotel. The location is excellent, directly across the entrance with full view of the green dome and close to the Raudah where you make salaam to Nabi SAW. It's on the opposite end of the ladies entrance to the Masjid so it's a small walk. Rooms were tidy, spacious and neat. Tiny fridge wasn't sufficient.
