I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Hilton multiple times, and each visit continues to exceed my expectations. The consistency in service, cleanliness, and overall comfort is why I keep coming back. The rooms are always well-maintained, the check-in process is smooth, and the staff consistently go above and beyond to make my stays enjoyable. I would especially like to recognize Monir Yousuf from the restaurant staff for his outstanding service. He is always professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. His positive attitude and attention to detail truly enhance the dining experience and make guests feel valued. We recently stayed at the Hilton convention in February, just before Ramadan. Let’s be clear- This is not 5 star by any means. Maybe a solid 4 star The positives are that the breakfast is great (at breakfast, Aktaruzzaman was attentive and lovely!). Also that the cleaning and food service staff are friendly and happy to help. The location is good ( just a small uphill walk that can be tiring but still very close) The partial view from our room of the haram was enjoyable. The negatives are; The main desk staff can often be busy as there have only ever been two available at a time- so it takes longer to be seen. They can sometimes be a-little rude. The phone in our room wasn’t working - I asked if it could be replaced but it didn’t happen. The iron wasn’t working but that was surprisingly replaced quickly when asked. The kettle didn’t work always. Some of our plugs also didn’t work in our room and made a crackling sound when used. Our room had some small bits that also needed fixtures like the cracked light shade in the bathroom or the tear in the lamp (maybe I’m being picky but if you call yourself 5….) Read less

The hotel is immaculately clean, peaceful, and perfectly located just a few minutes’ walk from the Haram – making it ideal for anyone visiting for Umrah or Hajj. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, with breathtaking views of the Holy Mosque. The overall atmosphere is calm and respectful, which made our spiritual journey even more meaningful. We booked breakfast as well, and I must say there were so many varieties to choose from, and your plate was never empty. It was delicious. I also ordered room service for my son, who only has English food and didn't want to take him out to feed him, but me and my husband and I enjoyed our traditional foods outside. Room service food was a delight, and my son really enjoyed it. They also rang to get feedback, which I thought was very nice. The chick in procedure could take a while as for some new guests should confirm about parking is included in there stay or not. One thing that they should have done is there was no security guard to guide for parking in basement and there is a slope at the parking entrance which whole entering during the day is not much visible, I would like if the hotel came with a solution for that. According to my family this room is perfect. The hotel service is very good, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious, especially the Falafel which has a savory taste. In the afternoon and evening, we went to the lounge for Afternoon Tea and dinner. The dinner is very good, especially if there is rice. Absolutely amazing stay and brilliant service! In-detail review below: Check-In Experience 5/5 We were a family of 5 (Adults) and we checked in around 12.30am and the hotel lobby was quiet. Luggage was offloaded by the staff and taken inside and was told to check-in at the reception. Was greeted well and I provided by booking details to the receptionist. He was very attentive and answered any questions I had. As we had two rooms booked, he asked if we would like to have the rooms on the same floor. Paid the remainder of the rooms via credit card which went smoothly. Took around 10 minutes for the whole check in process which was very good. Rooms 4/5 Rooms were perfect and clean. We were given a 4-bed room for 3 of us which was ample. and a 2-queen bed for the ladies. View was partial haram which was good. Some amenities listed on Booking.com were not present such as the slippers and bathrobe but we weren't too concerned about these. Only given 4/5 for this because someone else might require these amenities and if they are listed they should be provided but weren't big of a deal for us. Also one out of the two rooms booked did not have any drinks or snacks in the mini fridge although the other room did. Laundry Service 5/5 Quick and efficient and offered us free ironing and folding which are usually charged. Could not complain about this service as it was perfect as you'd expect. Customer Service 5/5 Calls from the room landline were answered immediately and always helpful on the other side. All queries answered thoroughly. Shuttle Service 4/5 24-Hour shuttle is a good service to provide, however was not as expected as it only takes you to the flat part near the shops at the bottom. Does not take you the front of the marbled area of the masjid. So you still need to walk around 4-5 minutes to get to the marbled area. Sometimes takes very long to come especially in the late night hours between 1 and 4am. Read less

I was booked at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel and when I arrived in Makkah I was transferred to the Hilton Convention Hotel without prior notice or a letter stating that the hotel will be changed. I had to wait in the lobby of the hotel for three hours after a long travel trip under the pretext that my reservation information had not been transferred from the first hotel (Double Tree) even though the hotel had been booked a whole week in advance. I just want to notice that it will be my first and last experience of this bad hotel The rating on the reservation sites page and Google Maps will be poorly rated + never mention this place to anyone Regards , Read less

My agency booked me a hotel within the same company, and at that previous lobby I was waiting for room, and could see that staff at reception no smile, no care, and concierge were racist and not helpful at all, with crowd and an elevator that go stuck and Engineer that take 20 min to come to fix it, so i got scared and asked my agency to chance hotel, and even if I had to pay some difference I never regret it. The receptionist Abdullah and Abdulrahman had a very good customer care. Lobby even with crowed was managed properly and welcoming drinks was available. Room service options and promotions are to take, no point to eat outside trust me, you pay same at the hotel with good portion and service and very delicious food either broasted chicken, or the meat byriani, so delicious. The breakfast has many options and egg live station, and the manager was going everywhere to check that things are smooth, during crowd today they opened buffet in 1st floor plus the M floor and it was well organized as well. Last and not least, housekeeping in our floor 2nd was good and willing to assist. Again with a genius smile. Thank you everyone for the effort you making. This does not go un-noticed. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Riaz Hussain and Mahamoud, who went above and beyond with their exceptional service. Their kindness and support made my stay much more enjoyable. I did encounter a small issue with the wifi range, as it was a bit challenging to connect from my room. The hotel is overpriced their service isn't top notch and doesn't give you that luxury feel, they are only charging this much due to being nearer to Haram (10 min walk); the internet service is going to give you a headache (literally it's that bad). The rooms smell of cigarettes and the pillows and bedcovers are just dirty, they don't give a nice feel at all. The pillows are too hard aswell I was literally using the extra blanket in the room as a pillow for the 8 days I stayed here. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone really, never booking this again. PS. Don't fall for the pictures they have posted, the real thing is quite different. Read less

I feel this hotel in needs to upgrade in many ways as I been told that all rooms have this bath tub showers which is not up dated as a walk in shower is more suited because I see lots of guests elderly and on the bath tub showers one fall or slip is dangerous no rail to hold so hope the hotel changes this. As fir other we are 3 guests and have only two cups fir tea or coffee and when asked I was told each rooms has 3 lol like a joke toilet paper u are given two gir 3 or more people another joke tea bags same 2 3 or more that the amount of tea bags and sugar u get reading all reviews there is lots of improvement to be done overall from management to bell boy ethics service communication and humility I been here and I see lots of tourists but they are elderly they need guidance so staff need to know language and knowledge to handle it care fir elderly people. It was awful. The rooms were a disgrace. I am currently staying at this hotel and there has been constant issues the second we checked in. The entire room smelt of cigarettes despite asking for assistance from staff. We asked to change rooms yet there was the same situation. The bathroom was horrible with mould marks everywhere. Clearly nothing has been cleaned before we came in because the floors and the doors were very dirty. The shower was absolutely disgusting, the water kept falling out everywhere. The toilet seat broke which we had to call housekeeping for and yet there was issues with it. Hygiene levels need to be improved immediately as we felt very uncomfortable from the very beginning. There is very limited supply of products. In a 4 guest bedroom, they only provide one toilet tissue and when asked for more they always get very hesitant. This is for sure not a 5 star hotel it is more a 1 star. Read less

The staff were uninterested and unhelpful, providing little to no assistance throughout our stay. The rooms were in an appalling state. The bathrooms were outdated, dirty, and barely functional, with showerheads that hardly worked. The mattresses were filthy, and, to make matters worse, several members of our group ended up covered in bed bug bites. The entire hotel had an unpleasant, stale odor that made it difficult to relax. We requested a room change due to a strong fishy smell in the first room, only to be moved to another room where we experienced the bed bug infestation. If cleanliness, comfort, and decent service matter to you, avoid this hotel at all costs. While the location is convenient, nothing else about this place is worth the stay. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It's a shame, because this was once a very good hotel. Read less

I’ve had the best experience in Shaza back in October. I’m very surprised to see the recent negative reviews though. I booked it from booking dot com and had no trouble paying at the property. Our quad room was spacious, clean and new looking. We were greeted with juices and check in was swift. We were also given complimentary fruit platter on arrival. I thought it was a one time thing only but they delivered another fruit platter to our room two days later again which was a nice surprise. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We got our rooms cleaned whenever we wanted. The breakfast buffet was really lovely too. They have live egg station but no pancakes one. Although pan cakes and french toasts are available in buffet everyday. Karak tea was being offered by a very friendly waiter everyday who made friends with my teenage son and made sure my mum got hot tea every morning. The customer relation desk lady (forgot the name) used to call us on our room telephone to check up on us every day and to see if we needed anything. In short I absolutely loved staying there and will book it again in a heartbeat as it’s only 5-6 minutes straight walk to the gate 333/334/335. Read less

I stayed at this hotel for six days, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room size was good, especially for a group of four. We had a four-bed room, which we converted into a master bedroom, and it provided us with ample space, even for dining in between. The location is also convenient, as it takes around 5 to 6 minutes to reach the Haram. I wouldn’t call it a bad hotel at all, and it served its purpose well for our stay. Read less
