We stayed here for our Umrah, and the hotel was amazing, comfortable, convenient, and well-maintained. Gate 79 to the Haram is right in front, making it a simple straight walk. There is ample food available at the easily accessible food court below. The rooms were neat and clean. Hassan at the counter, who handled our check-in, was extremely polite and welcoming. The breakfast buffet had a huge and impressive spread, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The restaurant manager was also very kind and pleasant. We would definitely choose Hyatt again. Read less

Review – Hyatt Regency Makkah ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at this hotel during our Umrah, and it was an excellent choice. The location is very convenient, making it easy to access the Haram, which is a big relief when performing Umrah, especially with family. Customer service was outstanding—staff were respectful, welcoming, and always ready to help, which added to the peace of mind during our spiritual journey. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, allowing us to rest properly between Umrah, Tawaf, and prayers. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, well organised, and ideal for starting the day early before heading to the Haram. Overall, the hotel provided comfort, convenience, and calm, which truly enhanced our Umrah experience. We found socks from previous guest behind the sofa. Room smell not fresh. Can find dirts and hair all over the floor. The service if compared with Hilton is really bad. Called for cncierge and need to wait for 1.5hrs. Called for mineral water need to wait for whole day. The staff for me not friendly, always make bad face. Called to clean room and only come at night. Not to mentioned poor air conditioner, sometime okay sometime very hot. Fridge not cold. Hot water not functioned properly at the sink. The prayer mat provided was dusty too. Ohh and the flush also problem. Poor hygienic and condition. Overall, i am really disappointed with this hotel. I dont know how this kind of service can be rated as 5stars hotel. The hotel is part of a multi-level shopping mall, with different floors offering everything you could possibly need, from food outlets and cafés to daily essentials and retail stores. The facilities are very well maintained, with spacious toilets featuring state-of-the-art fittings, which is a big plus after long hours in Haram. The staff are helpful, supportive, and courteous, always willing to assist with requests. Breakfast is another highlight, offering a wide variety of options catering to different tastes. However, there are several disappointing aspects. The room sizes are very small, especially considering the premium pricing. Despite booking and paying for a 3-bed room, we still had to pay extra for an additional bed, which felt unreasonable. The hotel is also overpriced for what is offered. Another major negative was the kids’ playing area. One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was the availability of children’s play facilities, but upon trying to access them, we were informed that additional charges apply to use these facilities. This makes little sense for guests already paying a high room rate and was quite frustrating. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, room service was excellent, and any concerns we had were promptly addressed by the manager Nasser The location couldn’t be more perfect—just a minute’s walk from the Haram facing King Fahad Gate, The Wi-Fi was also reliable and fast, which made our stay even more comfortable. What really stood out to us was the breakfast service. The hospitality we received was outstanding, especially from Mohid Ali, Asad, and Jalal. They were extremely professional, attentive, and kind, making the experience memorable for me and my family. My daughter especially loved it! We had the most memorable time at this hotel. We were there to perform our umrah, and the rooms were so comfortable. The bathrooms were fantastic with good pressure and gorgeous hot water. The elevators were so impressive because there was hardly any delay despite the hotel being quite full.  The hotel is located within the haram and is a few minutes to gate 79 (King Fahd Gate). So convenient. There is a lovely mall downstairs at kevel C1, which is also the level used to exit to the haram. The mall has some great shops and fantastic restaurants. You can get the famous milk tea upstairs at the mall's food court. The breakfast is incredible! I was shocked by the amazing range of foods on offer. They start breakfast a bit late at 6.30 am, which is not always convenient if you are praying fajr salat at 5am. It means you have a super long wait. However, I definitely recommend going g to breakfast early as it gets busier as the morning wears on. Breakfast ends at 11 am, with the last entry to the breakfast area at 10.30 am. The beds are very comfortable, and I slept like a log. The air-conditioning is very good, despite the blazing heat outside (we were there at the onset of summer and it was sweltering outside). I love the loudspeaker in the room, which means you hear all the salat in the haram directly. There were some instances where it was easier for me to pray in the room, and I didn't feel like I missed out at all. I recommend this hotel and would definitely come back. Read less

Please be aware that the hotel takes your booking and it is very misleading. I have booked for 2 Adults and 2 Children ages 12 & 12. Upon arrival they have provided a room with 2 single beds. Any reasonable person will accept that 4 persons cannot fit on 2 single beds. The beds are literally single not extra large or anything just regular singles. But the hotel will not provide any extra bedding and insist I have to pay for extra beds. How is this fair? If the hotel want to do this they should not be accepting bookings in this way as they are misleading. Also if they are accepting this type of booking then they have a duty to advise before guest arrival that they will only provide 2 single beds. This way the guest has a choice to decide if they will keep the booking. Clearly nobody will as they will not fit. So the message is stop misleading and start being fair. Read less

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Makkah for two days during Ramadan, and I must say it was our best and most memorable trip. It was my sister’s first time visiting Makkah, and thanks to this hotel, her Umrah and Ibadah experience was smooth and easy. My elderly mother was also very happy with the stay. Since the hotel is just a short walk from the Haram, she was able to go by herself without any difficulty, which gave us peace of mind. The location is excellent—right next to the Haram. There’s a shopping center downstairs, and even a mosque inside the hotel with separate prayer areas for men and women, which was very convenient. We booked a deal that included both Suhoor and Iftar, and the food was amazing with so much variety. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the hotel has all the amenities you could need. The location of the facility near the mosque and the attached mini mall remains a very attractive advantage. However staff services was not very welcoming and I felt some sort of dullness. The room furniture requires better maintenance particularly the carpet. The bathroom cleanness was above average. Value for money was not optimal maybe because it’s Ramadan season and prices for all hotels near the mosque are elevated. $$$$ My experience with Direct reservation via the reservation center of the hotel was below average customer service representative was not Very helpful which made me make my reservations through Booking.com I hope the hotel management pays more attention to find details to live up to the name of Hyatt Regency international Brand. The dine in menu does not have much options. The hotel is in a mall area, however the shops do not have variety of options. There is a big super market in the mall which makes it easier to find anything u need. Although they offer the choice that u can have a late checkout to 3 oclock and pay 25% of the stay or stay to 6 and pay 50%, they are always fully booked that they can not deliver this option. I had a truly pleasant stay at Elaf Al Taqwa Hotel in Madinah. I was lucky to be checked in by Turki, one of the friendliest Saudis I’ve met during my omra - genuine, down-to-earth with a real interest in helping and accommodating guests. I had asked for a room on one of the highest floors with a view of Al Haram, which wasn’t possible at first, but to my surprise, Turki called just two hours later to offer one on the 8th floor. That small gesture made a big difference. There was a bit of water noise from the bathroom, but the beautiful view of the Prophet’s rawda made it worth it. The hotel itself pays great attention to guest satisfaction. I received a few thoughtful WhatsApp follow-ups during my stay, and even a personal knock at the door to ask if I needed tea, coffee or water. Turki personally checked again after check-in to ensure everything was fine - that level of care really stood out. The location is perfect - less than a five-minute walk to Al Haram, with views overlooking the Prophet’s Rawda side. That’s a huge plus. The breakfast was also one of the best I’ve had in both Makkah and Madinah - varied, rich, and delicious, all for 60 SAR between 6-10 AM. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding stay at Elaf Al Taqwa Hotel Our stay at Elaf Al Taqwa Hotel in Medina was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel truly understands hospitality at the highest level. Housekeeping deserves special recognition. The rooms were spotless every single day, well organized, and refreshed with great attention to detail. The cleanliness standards were clearly very high, which made our stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was excellent and well balanced, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. Everything was well presented, constantly replenished, and suitable for guests from different backgrounds and preferences. It was the perfect way to start the day before heading to Al Masjid an Nabawi. Most impressive of all was the staff. From reception to housekeeping to restaurant staff, everyone was professional, respectful, and genuinely welcoming. They were always ready to help with a smile and made us feel valued as guests throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is ideal, very close to the Haram, which makes prayers and visits incredibly convenient. This alone adds significant value, especially for families and elderly guests. Overall, Elaf Al Taqwa Hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect. Comfort, cleanliness, service quality, and location all come together to create a truly memorable experience. Bismillah, I wanted to share how wonderful our experience was with the staff at Elaf Al Taqwa, especially Reda Mohamed, Mohamed Ibrahim, and our room attendant Kabinur. From the moment we arrived, Reda welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly felt at ease. He has a calm, kind presence and a natural way of taking care of guests that never feels forced. Every interaction with him made our stay feel special. Mohamed Ibrahim was also incredibly welcoming and helpful. He carried himself with sincerity and patience, and we truly appreciated the way he made everything feel smooth and comfortable for us. And our room attendant, Kabinur, was so attentive and thoughtful. He took great care in preparing our room, paid attention to the small details, and consistently showed kindness in every interaction. His effort really made us feel looked after. We are genuinely grateful for all three of them. Their hospitality, manners, and beautiful character left such a positive impression on us. A Truly Memorable Stay at Elaf Al Taqwa Hotel I had a beautiful experience staying at Elaf Al Taqwa Hotel in Madinah. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Their hospitality went above and beyond — every interaction was warm, respectful and professional. The hotel is exceptionally clean, quiet and well maintained with a peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for anyone visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, which is just a short walking distance away. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing and spiritual stay. What truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. They treated me with generosity and respect and made sure I was comfortable at all times. It’s rare to find such personalized care, and it made a big difference in my experience. I have stayed at hotels all over the world. I stayed at Jumeirah Jabal Omar in Makkah and coming from there my expectations were high, I would like to say that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The customer service and staff is phenomenal. Everyone here always has a smile on their face when they greet you and are always ready to assist to help with anything that you need. I would like to thank two staff members who were extremely helpful all throughout our stay Mr. Al Amin at front desk and Mr. Hazrat Ali from housekeeping staff. It was mine and my mother’s first time in Madina and I am so glad that we picked this hotel as it was recommended by my friend who had stayed here previously. It is literally a 2 minute walk to the Haram and 4-5 minute walk to the ladies entrance for Rawda. Also a 4-5 minute walk from ladies entrance to inside the mosque. I would definitely recommend Elaf Al Taqwa to anyone who is visiting Madina and inshAllah when I visit next I will be staying at the same hotel due to their excellent services and hospitality. The rooms and washrooms are super clean, tidy and the food options for in room dining are also pretty good. Definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed at. An absolute awesome experience at Elaf al Taqwa hotel, Every staff member was absolutely brilliant and were always their to help, from the cleaners to the managers. A special mention to Zeeshan who really helped and went above and beyond as my son who has multiple allergies was accommodated for food wise. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of the masjid so a great location. The Golf Buggys line up outside to take you to Masjid Quba. Lots of shops and museums within walking distance. Housekeeping services were efficient, ensuring our room remained clean throughout our stay. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well-cared for. One issue we encountered was the hardness of the beds, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
