Stayed here December 2023. I would not class this as a 5-star hotel at all, maybe 3-star. Our room was spacious and fairly clean, and that's about it. We were lucky to have a partial view of Masjid Al Haram and the Kaaba which was sheer luck. Now for the negatives - the bathroom was highly questionable, it is in desperate need of renovation and had an odd smell. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. The reception staff are definitely racist and arrogant, they threw our passports across the desk at us during check-in - the 'man' would not even look at us or speak to us directly, he addressed the concierge who then came to speak to us and treated us with respect. 4-star for service is simply because of the absolutely amazing housekeeping staff - may Allah ease and rectify all of their affairs and bless them abundantly with a million times more than what they have, ameen - they made our stay so comfortable and were attentive and welcoming, nothing we requested was too much for them. This hotel is only worth staying at because of the location, the amazing housekeeping staff, and the shopping mall located inside the building. Read less

I had a very pleasant stay at Maysan Al Harithia Hotel in Madina. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff handled everything professionally, which made our arrival very comfortable. The room was clean and bed and pillow were the best !!! well-maintained, and very comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is also excellent, with easy access to the Haram through the side gate, making it very convenient especially during prayer times. I would also like to specially appreciate the breakfast service team. Even during busy hours, they managed the service wonderfully and always attended to guests with warm smiles and great hospitality. A special thank you to Inayatullah, who was exceptionally kind, always greeting guests with a smile, checking if we needed anything, and consistently being helpful. Best hotel to stay in Madina if you want to be close to Masjid Nabawi, which is just 2 minutes walk from the hotel (Gate 329 of the Masjid). There are tons of great food options on a walking distance to the hotel. Taxi, Madina Sightseeing bus (hop on hop off), pharmacies, grocery, and all kinds of shopping are all very close. We really loved our stay at the hotel. We stayed in a quad room, which was very capacious, clean, and amazing. WiFi is super fast, and buffet breakfast is THE BEST, with tons of options for everyone. They allowed us to check in early even when all the surrounding hotels refused, and they even upgraded our room to a suite with Haram view. This is truly the hospitality you get from the lovely people of Almadinah. A special shout-out to our housekeeping guy, Sadam — he was really nice, generous, and honestly the highlight of our stay. His supervisor, Mahabul Islam, was also very professional and made sure everything was perfect. I also loved the variety at breakfast; the restaurant was very clean, cozy, and well organized. And not to forget Lojain from PR at the reception — she was extremely helpful, keen on getting our feedback through the survey, and assisted us smoothly with our late checkout request. AVOID at all costs - Misleading 5-Star Rating This hotel is an absolute disappointment and a far cry from the 5-star rating it boasts online. The experience was terrible from start to finish, and I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. Poor Cleanliness: The room was not clean upon arrival. The bathroom was particularly shocking, with visible grime on the tiles and a general sense of neglect. For a supposed 5-star hotel, this is completely unacceptable. Lifts are a Nightmare: With only three working lifts for a 13-floor hotel, getting anywhere is a major ordeal. What should be a quick 3-minute walk to the mosque turned into a frustrating 30-minute journey just because of the long wait times for the lifts. This is a massive inconvenience, especially for a hotel that caters to pilgrims. Horrible Breakfast Experience: The breakfast was chaotic and unorganized. None of the food items were labeled, so you had to guess what everything was. The egg station had a single, incredibly slow worker, leading to long queues. This lack of organization and poor service makes for a very unpleasant start to the day. Terrible Odors: The hallway on my floor had a persistent and awful smell that was truly unbearable. It made the entire experience feel dirty and unhygienic. Overall, this hotel is poorly managed, unhygienic, and a complete waste of money. My family and I stayed at Frontel Hotel for 4 days part of our Umrah journey, the hotel location is fantastic which is closer to the masjid al Nabawi, staff was very polite and helpful, and everything was perfect including the biggest buffet breakfast, the food was delicious. This is one of the best hotels that you can find because it is neat and clean throughout the building, and all the staffs goes beyond to make your memorable experience. Terrible Experience – Not a 5-Star Hotel! Do not be fooled by the 5-star rating — this hotel is barely a 3-star at best. Our first room had visible mould, a broken shower and bathtub, filthy carpets, and layers of dust and dirt everywhere. We requested a room change, but the second room had the exact same issues. The third room was even worse — it started to smell like sewage shortly after we checked in. The entire hotel is extremely outdated, with rooms that look like they haven’t been renovated since the 1980s. This is nowhere near the standard you’d expect from a supposed 5-star establishment. To make matters worse, Alharam Travel (Romford Road, London) changed our hotel last minute — not once, but twice — and placed us in this awful place. Completely unacceptable and disappointing from both the hotel and the travel agency. Avoid at all costs. Read less

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, being near the iconic Masjid Nabawi, which made it very convenient for attending prayers and exploring the city. However, I must admit that the first impression of the hotel was slightly underwhelming. The elevator was disappointingly slow, leading to some frustrating wait times during peak hours. Additionally, the elevator itself was quite cramped, which could be uncomfortable, especially for guests with mobility concerns. One of the highlights of my stay was the food selection offered during breakfast and lunch. While not exceptional, the choices were satisfactory, and the quality was decent enough to start the day with a good meal. I especially enjoyed the Dacidoff coffee sachet provided in the room, which was a delightful touch. Speaking of the rooms, I found them to be quite pleasant overall. The mattress was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep, and I was pleased to find two pillows for each occupant, allowing for personalized comfort. The housekeeping staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that the rooms were kept tidy and well-maintained throughout our stay. Another delightful aspect of Frontel Madinah was its proximity to a Baskin Robbins cafe near the reception area. It was a perfect treat for a quick dessert after a day of exploring the city or attending prayers. Additionally, the hotel's location also allowed easy access to nearby shopping areas, which was a bonus for those who wanted to indulge in some retail therapy. In conclusion, Frontel Madinah is a hotel with both pros and cons. While its location near Masjid Nabawi and friendly housekeeping staff are definite assets, there are areas that need improvement, such as the slow and cramped elevator. As per picture, you guys can see there is a steel peice has been fixed on the pillar behind the bed. My son was sleeping on bed , during he sleep he turned his hands towards another direction and touched this steel piece, which results cuts on his hands due to this steel decoration peice has sharp edges. You guys can see the blood on the bed of my son. I informed Mr. Khaled the duty manager, they just said one thing. We apologise for this, we will give you discount on your next visit. The location of the hotel is perfect and it seems very clean and nice hotel. However I give 2 stars because I have faced the most disappointing behavior from this hotel. They canceled my reservation without giving me a reason and get back to me. After coming from long distance, I didn’t find any kind of hospitality and the only answer that I get “ Sorry, we are in season period”. Which is not an excuse for such behavior. Read less

Had wonderful stay in Frontel Al Harithia with family. Staff was well mannered and cooperative. Showed a kind gesture by upgrading the room to junior suite. Haram is quite near to this hotel, especially the ladies gate. Supermarket Bindawood is at a few steps to buy anything. Read less

It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, as the prices were prohibitive for such a service. Bad rooms, size very cramped and not clean at all. Breakfast was bad too, it was the worst two nights I had in town. I also booked the room for a price and upon checking out the hotel they asked me double the price !!!!! Though the place is good but you can not call it a five star hotel in any sense. Double bedroom is actually consist of two single beds joined together. So you can imagine how would it feel like to rest on it with a family. Apart from that, the management is cooperative and helpful. And very much close to gate 16 of Majid nabi saww. The breakfast is awesome consisting of different yogurts, fresh fruits, fresh juices, breads and buns, muffins, donuts, omelets, scrambled eggs, falafel, one main dish, rice, salads, different types of cheese slices and many more.
