The Good: ​The Suite: We stayed in the Classic Executive Suite (Haram View). It was incredibly spacious with two large rooms and a big lounge. ​Spirituality: Loved the in-room speakers that stream the Adhan and prayers directly from the Grand Mosque. ​Food: Hotel restaurants offer a good variety and quality of food. ​Location: Perfectly situated right next to Masjid Al-Haram. ​The Bad: ​The Lift "Nightmare": While the lifts to the rooms are fine, the elevators from the lobby to the other levels are extremely crowded. There is very little queuing etiquette; people often jump ahead of children, the elderly, and the disabled. Give yourself plenty of extra time for prayers! ​Early Check-in: We arrived at 8:00 AM due to flight changes, but the staff transition made it difficult to get a room early. We ended up booking a different hotel for a few hours just to sleep. ​Summary: Friendly staff and excellent room size, but the elevator logistics can be stressful during peak times. Read less

After I raised a concern regarding my partial Kaaba view room, she quickly understood my request and arranged an alternative room. What stood out was that she personally checked the new room to ensure the Kaaba view was clear and met my expectations before asking me to move. We are very satisfied with our decision to book a room with a Kaaba view. Being able to make du’a from our room while directly facing the Kaaba was truly a special and unforgettable experience. Thanks to Mrs. Nuha for the room selection. From our room, we could also monitor the crowd levels around Masjid al-Haram and plan the best time to go down for prayers. It only took about 3 minutes to reach the courtyard of Masjid al-Haram, which was very convenient. The restaurant staff and supervisor were very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We did experience an issue where a pipe under the sink burst and caused flooding in the room. However, the maintenance and housekeeping teams responded quickly and handled the situation efficiently. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay at Pullman Zamzam Makkah. Read less

Pullman ZamZam hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay in Makkah. In particular, I would like to thank Mr.Rami Alhothali and Ms.Shahad for our positive experience. After over 24 hours of travelling, we were treated with excellent customer service upon arrival by Mr. Rami. Ms. Shahad also called in to ensure that we had everything we needed and when we asked for extra towels, the wait was no longer than 15mins. I would also like to note the workers who serve at the restaurant for breakfast buffet. They work hard to ensure all your needs are met and the food is excellent with lots of variety present. This hotel helped us in having the perfect place to stay, conveniently right in front of Masjid al Haram in the clock tower and many restaurants located right under us. Thank you for a lovely stay! Check in and check out were smooth and efficient, supported by the proximity and availability of elevators, which made movement within the hotel very convenient. I would like to extend special and sincere appreciation to (Ms. Huda), one of the hotel supervisors, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and proactive approach truly stood out. She demonstrated outstanding dedication, took personal ownership in assisting guests, and ensured comfort and satisfaction with genuine care and efficiency. We recently stayed at the Pullman Zamzam Hotel in Makkah Tower, and it was a deeply disappointing experience from start to finish. As someone who was expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay, especially in such a well-known hotel, I was incredibly frustrated by the overall quality and service. Room Service & Cleanliness: The first major issue was with room service. The room itself was not properly cleaned when we arrived. There were stains on the carpet, Another major flaw was the room size and comfort for four people. The room felt cramped and congested with barely enough space to move around. The furniture was old and didn’t match the supposed luxury feel the hotel is known for. It wasn’t equipped for four people in terms of amenities— extremely uncomfortable. It was evident that the room was not designed with families or larger groups in mind. It felt more like a basic, overcrowded space rather than the lavish retreat one would expect from a hotel in such a prime location. Staff and Service: The staff was helpful and responsive to our requests. We had changed room on request and they did but it was not comfortable too. Dining & Food: The dining experience was another letdown. The food was average at morning breakfast. General Atmosphere: The entire atmosphere of the hotel was less than stellar. The elevators were constantly crowded, and the lobby felt chaotic and unorganized. It was hard to get any sense of relaxation in such a busy, congested environment. Although we were unable to receive our entitled upgrade due to renovation and full occupancy, the exceptional service and professionalism of the entire team more than made up for it. I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel, which unfortunately fell significantly short of the standards I expected. Upon arrival, I found that only two reception agents were available despite a high number of guests waiting to check in. This led to a lengthy delay before I could be assisted. I was initially assigned Suite 2906 in the non-smoking area. However, upon entering, I immediately noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the suite, including the bedrooms. I was offered a refreshment spray, but I declined due to my son’s allergy. The suite was then changed to 2106. When I requested the bellman supervisor’s assistance in transferring my luggage from the car, my request was refused. I had to escalate the matter to the manager before the staff agreed to assist. Unfortunately, the replacement suite was also unsatisfactory. It was not properly prepared for guests, retained an odor of cigarettes, was not thoroughly clean, and did not contain sufficient amenities for the number of occupants. Furthermore, when we requested additional water, coffee, and tea from housekeeping, the request was declined, citing hotel policy. I raised these issues with both the supervisor and the hotel manager during my stay. However, my concerns were neither addressed nor resolved. No corrective action was taken, no compensation or complimentary service was offered, and the issues remained unresolved throughout my stay. This experience was far below the level of comfort, service, and hospitality I expect from a property of your standard. I trust you will take this feedback seriously and ensure such shortcomings do not occur for future guests. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be considering a future stay. Read less

However, a couple of things could be improved. There was a unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen sink pipes, which affected the overall room atmosphere. Also, the towels had a strange odor the last time they were changed — it made me question whether they were freshly laundered. We recently visited Makkah for Umrah with my family and had a truly wonderful experience. The location was perfect — just a short walking distance to the Holy Kaaba, which made it very easy and convenient for us, especially when having 2 kids (8 & 6 y.o.) The service was excellent throughout our stay. A special thanks to our brothers in the kitchen and housekeeping, especially Amir Hamza and his team, for their outstanding hospitality and care. The only minor point to mention is the elevators in the Clock Tower (not the hotel itself). Since there are many attractions and shops on each floor of the tower, it sometimes takes a little while to get an elevator up to the hotel’s reception. 5 stars Our experience at Zamzam Pullman Makkah was nothing short of amazing. We arrived in Makkah as early as 6 am and, although early check-in wasn’t available until 9, the front desk kindly provided us access to the lobby restrooms so we could freshen up before performing our Umrah. After completing our Umrah that morning, we returned to the front desk around 9:30 and were greeted by the lovely Rawabi, who checked on early check-in availability for us. Alhamdulillah, there was a room ready and we were able to check in much earlier than the standard 4 pm—this made such a difference after our long journey, and we were so happy and grateful! The room itself was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. And of course, the location is absolutely ideal—just steps away from the Haram, making it incredibly convenient for every prayer. Overall, I would rate this hotel a 7/10, primarily for its excellent location, efficient housekeeping, well-provided amenities, and satisfying breakfast selection. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. 1. I was surprised to find that the reception staff asked for a review—possibly for their KPI—before assisting guests. This is unexpected behavior, especially for a five-star hotel. 2. We encountered an issue trying to book a buggy through our Umrah app, which required a Saudi number that we didn't have at the time. When we asked the counter staff if they could offer any assistance, their response was simply, "Wallah, I can't help," before resuming their conversation with friends. I felt somewhat dismissed, as even if they couldn’t book it for us, they could have at least suggested an alternative solution. Overall, I found that many of the staff members did not meet the service standards expected of a five-star hotel. I hope the hotel management will put extra attention on this matter Read less

I had a pretty good experience with Pullman Zam Zam. This was the first time I used this hotel and can honestly say apart from a few issues that are possibly out the hotel chains control, it was great. The rooms are spacious enough for 4 people. The single beds are a very decent size and are more likely 3 1/4 beds, which I loved. The best thing about the location is it classed within the Harram and has speakers connected directly to the room and you can hear and azaan and recitation. The check in process was unnecessary long, the reservation had been made 2 months in advance and an accessible room was requested, however, this was not made available for us on check in. I was disappointed to find out there are only 4 accessible rooms in this monster of a hotel. The room service was great, they have a great bunch of guys providing a great service. Breakfast was decent, the lifts in the hotel worked great, but the clock tower ones that we use to get to the hotel reception floor were very temperamental. The clock tower lifts are as expected super busy at times causing some delays. My biggest disappointment was the basement drop off and pick up location floor which is -2 from the clock tower lifts. This area is so dangerous and it is absolutely shocking how this planned out. There are so many vehicles coming and going and majority of those are for hotel customers of several big chains, however, the drivers are not allowed to park as they will get a fine. Proper lanes and parking space should be created so families can load or offload their families and luggage with ease the location is amazing, coming out the clock tower you are directly facing the Kind Abdul Aziz gate and can see the kaba. Hotel chain needs to improve on providing more accessible rooms and try and organise the parking, loading and offloading of passenger to make the customer experience a lot better. Staying here did feel like it was a 5 star hotel, thanks and I would definitely consider staying there again. Read less

She worked diligently for nearly 4 hours to arrange an early check-in, and we are incredibly grateful for her kindness and effort. Her warm and professional service truly stood out. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—situated within the iconic Clock Tower complex, it’s just steps away from Masjid Al Haram and the Kaaba. Having everything so close made our stay even more convenient and spiritually fulfilling. The buffet breakfast was also excellent, offering a variety of delicious options. This was a terrible experience. Broken shower. No help in getting a new room or repairing the problem. Bugs in the rooms. Lights not working. No temperature control in the air conditioner. I was travelling with family and one night after Umrah the water in the shower was dirty. This was at 2am. Nobody responded to my complaints so I went to reception at 2:30 and spent half an hour trying to get the staff to at least give me a place to shower since they could not resolve the issue. Finally they gave me a room to shower in. This room had bugs in it. Then I had them move me into a new room so that I could have usable running water. Around 5am they sent me to a new room, but when I walked in there were already people living there who I had to have an awkward encounter with. Finally I had them give me yet another room. By this time it was 5:30am. This room like all the others is in bad condition and poorly cleaned. Many of the lights in the room are not working. Worst of all I have seen bugs crawling around this room. Throughout the hotel I have seen many other angry guests and the whole place is in chaos. By far the worst Pullman I have ever stayed in (I am an Accor member and regularly stay in the chain). Read less

On the flip side, the check-in process was slow, and we had to wait for a long time due to the rush and the limited number of receptionists available. The customer service was also not up to par as they took a very long time to respond to our calls. One of the main issues we encountered was the delay in receiving our bags, which we only received after contacting customer service. Moreover, the items on the menu were quite expensive, which was a bit of a letdown for us. We were expecting to have more affordable options to select from, but this was not the case. Overall, the hotel has its ups and downs. Table was wobbly, bathroom door handle broken, toilet seat loose, bathroom drain open so you could see inside pipe, sink drain not working and shower dirty with stains. Maintenance of the rooms was neglected overall. Took so long to get to the floor you wanted or wait for the lift to arrive it didn't feel like 5 star experience at all. 2 star because housekeeping was great and they did their job well when requested. We did have overflowing bin for 1 day as housekeeping didn't come. Our 3-4 star hotel in Madinah was better kept and maintained and had great housekeeping there! The hotel is rather disappointing as the rooms lack something. They seem dated and not well maintained. We stayed her for 1 night on arrival in a classic 2 bedroom so not sure if the suits would be better. Still good but gets really busy and lifts are difficult to get. Taken the above into account this hotel is not worth staying at as there are better options for the same price. Service is the worst at this hotel than any other hotel I have stayed at. I would avoid at all costs and stay at another site in the clock tower. Don't waste your money. Read less

Stayed at Pullman Zamzam Madinah from 13/02/26 to 16/02/26 with my family (one room for four persons). It is a very family-oriented hotel and the location is excellent—very close to Masjid A Nabawi, which made visiting the mosque very easy and convenient. A very helpful service was the bus provided for women to reach the specific gates designated for them to enter the mosque. This made the visit much more comfortable for our family. The stay was pleasant overall. One suggestion for improvement would be to have a sound system in every room connected to Masjid Nabawi so guests can listen to the prayers from their rooms. All the staff members were extremely cooperative, professional, and always ready to assist. I would especially like to appreciate all the Duty Managers for their continuous support and positive attitude. Due to the airspace closure, the Duty Manager kindly granted us a 25% discount, which was a very generous and understanding gesture during a difficult situation. This truly reflects their commitment to guest satisfaction. A special thanks to Ms. Linah from the Guest Relations team. She was very kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and even provided us with a complimentary dates box as a thoughtful gift. My father and I had a mixed bag of experiences at this hotel but ended up happy with the stay. When we arrived at the location we were told that there were no rooms at the upper floors. We were given a third floor room that hadn't properly been cleaned. We were then offered a room of the same size on the eighth floor... So obviously they didn't offer the best room to us in the first place. Another problem was that after extending for one day the hotel repeatedly called us insisting that we hadn't paid. It turned out it was a fault in their system. Finally, despite making booking for 2 people, the hotel said only one person could attend breakfast. How, in a room for 2, can you say only one person could attend breakfast? Now, despite all these problems the hotel staff did provide quick solutions and were courteous and apologetic. On the final day the hotel manager called us personally and went above and beyond in apologizing and providing us with ample time to check out. The room itself was not particularly stellar. The beds were fine and I appreciated the complimentary fruits, sweets, water and utilities like iron table, prayer rug, and so on. The bathroom could be better as I really don't like open showers. The roof floor restaurant and the staff working there are excellent. The best thing about this hotel is obviously the location. You can't beat it. Read less

I literally was in pain sleeping in that bed. 😞 We found writing and scrabbles on the lamp in the living room, marks and scratches on the wall. More work needs to go into this hotel. Despite calling for water and amenities for hours, they ARE NOT RESPONDING! I AM HERE RIGHT NOW and even after complaining to their so called managers, none of them leading me to the real one, they are just making empty promises and doing nothing Please everyone, prefer a 1 star over this one. Trust me you would get better service and cleanliness there for the best price. I am literally being humiliated here for paying such a large amount of money. I have rated this hotel five stars based on earlier experience as I was impressed by the hotel service and the kindness of the staff, in addition to the newness of the hotel and its great location. However, based on my new experience I have taken two stars as it did not meet my expectations this time. The rooms’ furniture deteriorated, and so is the service especially from the reception. We asked for a room upgrade, and were told that no rooms were available although it was obvious that this was not the case, and rooms were available on the Booking. I had to speak to the shift manager to get the room upgrade. The breakfast arrived cold and did not meet the request. The laundry services are very expensive even by hotels’ standard. I am keeping the three stars for two reasons: - the swift response from the shift manager and his kindness in changing the room in a very short time. - the kindness of the housekeeping staff, especially, Suhail Rana.
