The hotel’s service was outstanding, the rooms were very clean, and the overall environment was comfortable and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and well-organized, with a good variety of food. I would especially like to highlight Miss. Rahaf, the Customer Service Manager. She was extremely polite, professional, and caring. She checked on us several times during our stay and made sure that everything was perfect. Her attitude and hospitality truly made our stay more comfortable and memorable. One of the staff Mr.Khaled Mohammad Fayez was extremely friendly, polite, and professional. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. He was attentive, responsive, and always ready to help with a smile. The manager Mr.Ahmed Salama showed great leadership and personally ensured that everything was well organized and that customers were satisfied. The service was fast and efficient, which made our dining experience very comfortable. Overall, the excellent service provided by both the manager and staff made this visit truly enjoyable. Great value for money, is around 6-8 minutes away from Haram while charging half the price of hotels which are next to Haram. The location is the best point, small shops next to it and easy walk to Haram. The rooms are generally good and provided with usual sufficient amenities. Great hotel lobby and there are few more interesting things like an ice cream shop etc. Several lifts so never have to wait long. The rooms facing backwards towards hill get almost no noise Few negative points however - the hotel building is probably old and some small things require maintenance. That is why i do not think the rooms are at 5-star level. The quadruple rooms have 2 beds which are usually smaller but comfortable. They however make the room a bit congested. Overall i find it to be a great option for those who want proximity to Haram but also dont want to spend a lot on being closer to it. The reception staff was nice and checkin was quick. I stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights. It was nothing short of splendour. I am happy that I chose this hotel. Albeit 10 minutes walk to Al Haram, it was still a pleasant place. Shout out to Sierra Leone, the ever helpful luggage officer and Ms. Reefal (I hope I get her name right). The rooms are spacious and comfortable with good beddings and pillow. Completely Unacceptable Service – Never Again! We traveled with our entire family and had clearly requested rooms next to each other when we made the booking. This request was confirmed by the hotel in advance. However, upon arrival, we were given rooms that were far apart, without any explanation or apology. When we addressed this issue at the reception, we were met by a receptionist named Fatima – and her behavior was absolutely outrageous. She was extremely rude, raised her voice, threw our room keys at us, and told us to leave. Such disrespectful, aggressive, and unprofessional conduct is completely unacceptable in any service environment, let alone a hotel. We then escalated the matter to the manager, who was just as unhelpful and dismissive. Instead of taking responsibility, he defended the receptionist’s behavior and offered no support whatsoever. After much pressure, we were finally given the rooms we had originally been promised. However, from that point on, the staff continued to treat us with hostility. When we called to request basic necessities like toilet paper or bottled water, we were told we “had no right” to ask for anything – simply because we had dared to complain. Our clear impression: This hotel only treats certain guests – especially Arab visitors – with respect. Guests from the EU or Asia are treated as second-class. My advice: Avoid this hotel at all costs. There are many other places where professionalism, fairness, and basic human decency are still valued. Read less

Praise be to Allah who blessed us with the opportunity to perform Hajj. We stayed at Al Shohada Hotel in Makkah, and all praise is due to Allah — we were surrounded by comfort provided by all the staff, whether at reception, in the restaurant, or in room service. What truly made me happy, however, was seeing the hotel management present everywhere — from the reception hall to the restaurants — ensuring food quality and outstanding service, walking through the corridors to inspect cleanliness and how the rooms were being cleaned, and reviewing even the smallest details to guarantee the comfort of the guests. This was my first encounter with Mr. Mohamed Taha, who was personally checking the readiness of the rooms. When I asked one of the staff members about him, I was told he is the General Manager of the hotel — this increased my respect and admiration for the place I was staying in. For this reason, I wanted to thank all the hotel staff, and especially the management who trained their employees in the right way, so they treat the guests as if they were part of their own family. Thank you Mr. Mohamed Taha and Mr. Khaled Al Shanbari. I also won’t forget to thank the restaurant management — Mr. Nasser Abu Deeb, Mr. Ahmad Salama, Chef Mohsen, Chef Hatem, and Chef Adel. Nice staff, good service, room was a disability room and was very large with comfortable beds and good shower. Only downside was windows did not open at all. Restaurant food is good and tasty but extremely busy in Ramadan and difficult to find seating for iftar. For the price, I'd stay again. Read less

I should have never order from the room service. They mixed up order. Served me one item at a time. Please people order from outside or eat outside they serve you left over food from the night buffet, Bad and rotten food. Whomever managing this hotel have no clue on food and service. A very disappointing experience, in terms of looks and feel the hotel is nice. The lobby always smells nice when entering and there are several lifts to get you to the required floor. The biggest disappointment has been the actual rooms, the electricity has been deliberately wired in a way to make it hard for people to sleep or charge their devices. This means in order to have power to the sockets and charge your devices, you will need to keep the rooms lights on, obviously this makes it so uncomfortable after a long day in the masjid, you just want to come back and relax with just one lamp on and devices on charge to communicate with your loved ones. We also had several issues with our bathroom, with clogged shower & sink drain, and toilet flushing issues. To top it off we had some water leak in the bathroom from the roof, this had me worried as I did not know if this water is clean or not, and could it get mixed electrical wiring and cause a fire. This is clearly not a 5 star hotel more like a 3/4 star. The hotel chain should be ashamed of making things difficult for the guests of Allah, instead of making things easier. Electrical charging points should be a standard feature in any hotel chain, never mind one that classes itself as 5 star. The beds are smaller than expected, especially when compared to the single beds we had at Pullman Zam Zam Makkah. The location is great as it is only 3-4 mins to get to the masjid and is ideal for ladies as it closer to their entry points by gate 339. Unfortunately I would NOT use this hotel again, purely because of the deliberate inconvenience it has caused with its intentional electrical wiring design. Read less

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was booked for 3 people and all three beds were comfortable. The location was great, you cross the road and the woman’s gate is right there which was super convenient. Plenty of shops around for food/shopping. Breakfast was okay, could be better in terms of variety but not that bad. The hotel is easily accessible for uber which made travelling further out convenient. The staff were lovely and helpful. They agree to provide you with free parking and turn a deaf ear once you reach. Housekeeping people are dedicated to their work. It was okay. The room was somewhat clean. The bathroom and room had an odor. Bathroom hygiene would be 5/10. Had to open the window for fresh air. The only good thing about it, it is close by the haram for woman and food places are close by too. Some shops around the area. Has a good view. The service is good when checking in. Read less

This hotel doesn’t deserve a single star. Very old furniture and beds squeaking every time someone moves. Bad smell in the bathroom and room wasn’t clean when we got there. Rather than changing the room the kept us 1 hour waiting. The only good thing is the location to Haram but better avoid it as there are plenty of other hotels in the area. Don’t be tempted by the pictures and the price. Not worth it at all. Read less

I don’t know how it’s called a 5 star hotel with a 3 star room and facilities. Breakfast was worst, milk was so dilute. They cleaned the rooms on time but that was only the good part. The washroom clogged with water and didn’t go for so long. Sheets had stains. Would never ever go here. Read less
