I would like to sincerely commend Abdur Rahman, who provided room service during my stay at Voco Hotel Makkah. I was staying in room 81107, and throughout my entire stay, his service stood out as truly exceptional. Abdur Rahman was incredibly responsive and attentive at all times. No matter the request, big or small, he handled everything with genuine care, efficiency, and a positive attitude. He always made sure our needs were fully understood and promptly taken care of, often going above and beyond what was expected. His willingness to help, calm demeanor, and consistent professionalism made a noticeable difference in our overall experience. What impressed me most was his readiness to assist at any moment and his ability to anticipate our needs even before we had to ask. He carried himself with kindness, respect, and a strong sense of hospitality, which truly reflects the high standards of Voco Hotel Makkah. It’s rare to encounter someone so dedicated and sincere in their role, and Abdur Rahman is a perfect example of excellent customer service. I had a very pleasant stay at voco Makkah, and overall everything was excellent. The hotel is located on the main road, Ibrahim Al Khalil, which makes access very convenient. The check-in process was smooth and well organized. Mr. Faris at the reception was extremely helpful, polite, and professional, which made a great first impression. The rooms were comfortable, the staff were very supportive, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was up to the mark. I stayed for 8 days with my family, and we felt well taken care of during the entire stay. I have also stayed at voco Makkah previously, and my experience then was equally good. During my earlier stay, the shuttle service was extremely convenient and available at all times, even during prayer times. The shuttle drop-off was at Clock Tower parking, which made it very easy to reach Haram. On this visit, the shuttle drop-off has been changed to Ajyad parking. From there, the walk to Haram is about 5 to 7 minutes, and the shuttle service stops one hour before prayer time. While the earlier arrangement was more convenient, the current setup is still manageable. Overall, voco Makkah is an excellent hotel with great service, cleanliness, and a prime location. I would highly recommend it for families and would be happy to stay here again in the future. Read less

Honestly, this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The bedroom had everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The lobby and interior are absolutely beautiful, with a café and a mall downstairs, which made everything so convenient. Stepping outside to see the Clock Tower was such a lovely view, and the hotel is only a 10–15 minute walk to Masjid Al Haram with an easy and straightforward route. The breakfast buffet and dinner offered a great variety of options, and the food was genuinely delicious. The service was outstanding everyone was welcoming, helpful, and always happy to answer any questions. Room service was also excellent, with a separate menu and delicious food. The housekeeping service was excellent. The room was very comfortable ، large space and clean. The food buffet was excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the buffet service was very good.
It would be even better if there were more Lebanese food options ☺️ The reception staff were very friendly, and there is a shuttle bus every 20 minutes to Al-Haram Al-Makki.
The hotel truly deserves its 5-star rating.

We have stayed 9 nights (4+5) during our stay in Makkah and we had a very good experience at this hotel from check in to check out. Rooms and washrooms were neat and clean. Service was very good, room cleaning, room service everything was top notch. This hotel gives you facility of 5 star hotel in 2 star hotel prices. Economical with luxury. Shuttle is 24/7 direct from hotel to Haram and if you're comfortable in walking you can also go to Haram by walk especially in night time which is around 1.3 km. Pro tip: go to Haram 1 hour before Salah and comeback hotel after 1 or 1 and half hour later from Salah because right before and after salah shuttle can be too much crowded as we have experienced. Update: I have to update my review to reflect what happened after hajj, they decreased the number of buses significantly without considering the number of visitors still staying in the hotel, resulted in long waiting times for buses to come and waiting your turn or keep standing the whole time, this turned the movement to el haram to nightmare specially that haram gate is now shared with people of another hotels and you have to stay in same line with them. Although i was planning to consider the hotel for umrah later, but after this experience i will certainly look for another hotel near to haram as i can't guarantee the buses availability and timing. The hotel is very nice, rooms are excellent. Room service needs to be improved, it is the first time to stay in a hotel where i have to request room service when needed, and i have to specify what they are required to do, and sometimes when i request 3-4 actions, some of them are done and some don't. We stayed for 2 weeks with almost the same food everyday, but they started introducing new staff after 2 weeks. Read less

Bazaars and other essentials are also very close by. The only issue I experienced was with the hot water. The pressure was quite low, and the hot water would run out, which made it difficult to take longer showers. This may be a personal preference, but it was noticeable. Other than that, the stay was good. The rooms are clean, and the basics are provided. There is a kettle and a fridge available, but no additional amenities, so you should bring your own essentials. Overall, a good and convenient place to stay. Read less

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs ⭐☆☆☆☆ My stay at Hotel Karam Taiyaba Al Masi in Medina was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. First and foremost, the cleanliness was appalling. The rooms were dirty, with stained bedding and unclean bathrooms. It was clear that housekeeping standards were either non-existent or completely neglected. The staff behavior was equally unacceptable. The team was unprofessional and unhelpful, making the stay even more frustrating. The receptionist, Aktarujjaman, stood out for his rude and dismissive attitude. Instead of resolving issues, he was argumentative and showed no respect for guests. The overall environment felt chaotic, with no sense of organization or care for customer satisfaction. This is not what one expects when visiting a holy city like Medina, where hospitality should reflect the city’s significance. I strongly advise avoiding this hotel. I was very unhappy with my stay at Karam Taiba Almasi. The room was very small and meant for two beds, but they added more beds, making it cramped and uncomfortable. There was only a bed and no basic things like a mobile charging socket. The furniture was broken, and the bathroom fittings were in bad shape. The room was not cleaned every day, which was disappointing. The service was very poor, and the staff didn’t seem to care about helping guests. They took the money but didn’t give good service or hospitality. There are many other hotels in the same area with better facilities for the same price. I don’t recommend staying here. Read less

Room was full with fleece , we stayed 4 nights and not once we had r service, I agree it’s a budget hotel but isn’t cleanliness a big part of our religion ? my airwave was blocked up, I had constant cough , my old mother was bed bound, we stayed at room 313, please my dear brothers and sisters, spend a little more so at least you can do your Ibadat properly, soon as I checked out from that dump alhamdullillah I can breath better but something is totally wrong in that hotel. The backside rooms in one of which I stayed had no views. Good quality rooms. Have three lifts. The surrounding areas have food outlets, souvenir shops, dates and sweets shops.
