Stayed here for a whole week during Ramadhan with my parents! Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable, convenient and accommodating stay. The location was close to the Haram, but steers clear of the rush of crowds going into the clock tower - a valuable perk esp at peak season. The GM, Hisham and his team were very attentive to our needs, were receptive to feedback and were proactive in ensuring we were cared for. The service team always had a smile on their faces, providing hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The food selection during iftar was amazing! Well balanced traditional Arabian food, a full spread of desserts - we absolutely loved that its always served hot, and is always well put together. Definitely will come back to stay here.

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Makkah for one night along with my wife, and overall it was a comfortable experience. The staff were welcoming and courteous. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, which made it ideal for resting after Umrah. All the basic amenities were in place, making the stay convenient and hassle free. We had suhoor on the 8th floor at around 1:30am, which turned out to be a great decision as there was no rush at that time. The variety was good and everything was well arranged and fresh. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Haram, which is manageable. However, guests should be aware that the road directly in front of the hotel closes during prayer times and may reopen up to one hour after the prayer depending on the crowd. This can make getting a taxi from the front difficult. Similarly, reaching the hotel by taxi can sometimes be challenging due to traffic and temporary roadblocks. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, especially for a short visit with family.

Pros: -The location is excellent, close to Haram with a great view. -Hotel staff and management are generous. -Staff are polite and very friendly. -Check-in and check-out times are handled with high flexibility. -The food is delicious. -They offer a complimentary dinner, which is very tasty. .. Cons: -Although a large bed was advertised, it is actually smaller than described. -There is no smart TV in the room. -There is no parking at all — not in the basement, not in front of the hotel, and not even an open area nearby to park your car. -Even when ordering Careem or Uber, there is no proper place for the driver to stop and pick you up, especially if you have luggage. -The internet signal is not strong. -The price is slightly high. -The number of power sockets is not sufficient. -There is no place or hanger to put clothes inside the bathroom. -No hand shower is available — only the overhead shower.

My recent stay at Le Méridien Makkah was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the level of professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail demonstrated by the staff was outstanding. What impressed me most was the team’s responsiveness and genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. On the rare occasion that I experienced a minor issue, it was addressed immediately and handled with efficiency and care. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything was resolved promptly, always with warmth and respect. The overall atmosphere of the hotel reflects excellence in hospitality. The service standards, cleanliness, and dedication to guest comfort made my stay not only comfortable but genuinely memorable. I am sincerely grateful to the entire team for making my visit such a positive and unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Le Méridien Makkah to anyone seeking a seamless and distinguished stay in Makkah.

From the moment I checked in until farewell, I experienced first-class service across all F&B outlets, including the Lobby Lounge and All-Day Dining. Hicham, the restaurant manager, stands out as a true hospitality professional meticulous, hands-on, and deeply attentive. I was impressed watching him guide and motivate his team during busy periods; this is exactly what true hospitality should be about, and sadly, what many hotels often lack. Although some of the outlets are not in pristine condition, Hicham made the experience unforgettable by focusing entirely on the quality of food and guest treatment. His courtesy and attention to detail alone make me want to return. I also want to highlight the exceptional service I received from Mohammed Baghdadi, the Rooms Shift Leader. Despite my original booking for twin beds, I requested a switch to a king-size room. Mohammed went above and beyond to accommodate my request, assigning me a room that was clearly renovated and in excellent condition, while the original room clearly needed attention. Spending just two days at the hotel, it became clear to me that Hicham and Mohammed are the true pillars of Le Méridien’s operations, seamlessly bridging F&B and Rooms. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication make a stay here genuinely memorable. Adnan Alessa, Luxury Hotelier Expert

In short, anyone coming for the first time must pay attention to the air conditioning inside the buildings and public transport, it is too low considering that it is very warm outside, you enter inside at a modest 20, the hotel itself has a good location, certainly one of the best for the price they offer, (I mean the proximity to the harem because you don't have to pay for the bus), breakfast and dinner are very modest, unlike the European system, the service is insufficient, you have to call the reception even several times to replace towels and bring toilet paper (they are quick when they answer the phone), but considering the number of guests coming, be patient, you can always read the reviews before booking it.

I am currently staying at Le Meridien Makkah and very disappointed with the housekeeping service. For four days, my room was not cleaned at all. On the third day, I reminded the staff, but nothing was done. On the fourth day, after pointing it out again to the same person, he came within 5 minutes but finished the “cleaning” in less than 4 minutes while I was waiting outside. When I entered, I realized their version of cleaning was only changing the bedsheets. Tissues were still lying on the floor, empty bottles were left untouched, and the sink was messy with water all over it. For a hotel of this reputation, the housekeeping standards are extremely poor. I sincerely hope the management looks into this, as guests expect much better service during their stay.

One of the best Experiences this time at the Le meridian Towers Makkah.. the check in was smooth the bell boy was kind and soft spoken… the lift was always available in spite of the hotel being full booked… the room was serviced daily with vacuumed carpets and steamed washrooms…many incidences where the staff helped upfront .. there was a Saudi staff named HIND..always answers the first call and helped in getting my tasks fulfilled..

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Meridien Makkah – A True Benchmark in Hospitality I recently had the pleasure of spending a weekend at Hotel Meridien Makkah with my family, and I can say with full confidence that it was an experience of the highest standard in hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the reception team set the tone for our stay. The receptionist greeted us with a warm, genuine smile that instantly made us feel welcome and valued. This first impression was just the beginning of a consistently exceptional experience. The hotel’s location is unbeatable — just steps away from the Haram, in a lively, vibrant neighborhood, making it both convenient and uplifting. Our room was immaculate — perfectly clean, thoughtfully arranged, and equipped with every amenity one could need. The attention to detail in cleanliness and comfort was remarkable, ensuring a truly restful environment for the whole family. Room service was beyond outstanding — fast, professional, and always delivered with a friendly touch. The efficiency and courtesy of the staff reflected a deep commitment to guest satisfaction. The crown jewel of our stay was the restaurant on the 21st floor, offering a breathtaking view of the Haram. Mornings here were serene, enjoying breakfast in a space that is not only beautifully designed but also impeccably managed by talented and professionals Said, Hamza, Abdelalim and Mehdi and others, whose professionalism and gracious service elevate the dining experience. In the evening, the illuminated view of the Haram adds a spiritual and uplifting dimension to dinner that words can hardly capture. It is clear that the excellence of Hotel Meridien Makkah — from hospitality and facilities to service and atmosphere — is the result of visionary leadership. I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Area General Manager and the General Manager of Marriott Meridien Makkah for fostering such a culture of quality, warmth, and creativity. Your efforts are truly felt in every aspect of the guest experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Meridien Makkah to anyone seeking not just accommodation, but a memorable, heartfelt, and world-class hospitality experience. I look forward to returning and reliving this exceptional standard of care

5 star only name but definitely not 5 star hospitality hotel. The lobby was very small and crowded. The security was very rude. We are trying to buy some coffee in the restaurant but the security did not allow us to go to the restaurant so we end up talking without anything on the table. What asshamed .... Better change the name with 3 star local brand. NOT WORTH IT ...

AVOID THIS PLACE like the plague... we have booked 4 rooms here and it has been the absolute worst service from ABDUL RAZZAQ the manager and the entire service team not even mentioning the quality of the rooms which are horrendous definitely not 5 star! I have a disabled father who is wheelchair bound - firstly they don't give the right room - Secondly they don't replace for an accessible one which means for 4 days now my father has not been able to use the shower as its a bathtub which the entire team are aware of but absolutely do not care. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT

I think this hotel staff went above and beyond during our stay. We were here for about six or seven days during Ramadan 2025, and everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were always clean, and the staff on our floor were consistently professional and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and often checked in to see if we required any assistance. The staff at the lobby were also extremely helpful and kind. One of the highlights of our stay was the iftar and suhoor meal that were included as buffet. It made our lives so much easier, and the food was genuinely delicious. We didn’t have to go out looking for iftar or suhoor spots. Tariq and Hamza working at the buffet were always very helpful. I can’t thank you guys enough for making us feel so comfortable. I can’t wait to come back with my family and stay here inshallah. Most important part is that Le Méridien made our stay during Umrah a very pleasant experience. This is very close to clock tower and walk to Masjid al haram is only 5/max 10 minute because of the crowd. I highly recommend this place. I myself will be staying here when I come back inshallah.

I stayed for one night, the room was freshly updated, they also provided with free dinner (nice touch!), we dined at the 21st floor - small restaurant but very crowded. The room is great, but bathroom needs more renovations with the smell The service is excellent, love the friendliness and very helpful with any needs! Smiles all around! Distance is best! Less than 5 mins walk to the Haram. Will stay here again.

I heard that some booked rooms were reassigned to a different hotel, which is highly unprofessional and very disappointing. Additionally, there were several issues with the service that made the experience uncomfortable: 1. Inappropriate behavior from waiters – Three waiters were excessively flirty. While I was dining with my little sister, they catcalled us, exchanged glances, and laughed among themselves. I expected this city to be a place of joy and peace, but this behavior was far from it. 2. Rude waitress – My little sister was eating and had paused to talk to our parents, but before she could finish, the waitress took her plate without asking if she was done. There was no courtesy, no confirmation—just an assumption that the food was finished. What’s worse, there was still food on the plate, which ended up being wasted because it was thrown away without any confirmation. This lack of basic service etiquette is truly disappointing. 3. Unprofessional cleaning service – While I was in my hotel room with my grandmother, a male staff member rang the bell for cleaning. I told him everything was fine and no service was needed, yet he stood there, smiling and staring at my grandmother without moving until I closed the door. My grandmother and I was scared. Then, on the day of checkout, I was already in a rush when he entered the room while I hadn’t put on my hijab. As I hurried to the elevator, he raised his voice to joke—at a completely unnecessary time when I was clearly in a hurry. This level of service and professionalism is unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Staying here for five days was rather convenient, near Masjid Al Haram. The room indeed was pretty old but clean enough. The air conditioner was working well but the shower's hot water was not hot enough. The staff was friendly, food was decent not very special though. It was good enough for me. Thank you!

After reading many negative reviews, I was skeptical of staying here. But I was so glad that I did stay here for the reasons below: 1. Much more affordable than other options. 2. Very close to the Haram. 5 to 10 minutes walk depending on the crowd. 3. Clean room. 4. Prayer room option. 5. Good food. 7. Great customer service from everyone. Even though I was there from 24 to 26 of Ramadan, which means extremely crowded.... the staff was very helpful and polite. I am definitely going to stay here again.

The hotel is nearby Haram (5 min walking) but the rooms, beds, bathrooms, appliances, toiletries, hardwares, furniture and fixtures etc. are neither good nor does it satisfy the amount paid. The beds were very uncomfortable and the lights were kind of dim. The charging sockets were very few in number and I had to use the extension plug for the extra sockets. The rooms are very congested as the floor runs short. However the room service guys are good and genuine to help moreover the stay was also good because the city itself is a place of peace.

Ten minute walk from Haram. Beautiful views of Kaaba. The whole staff is incredibly helpful and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The restaurant on the top floor is very good. Especially the cook who makes fresh omelettes in the morning and prepares hot pasta for dinner and lunch.
The best experience in terms of staying near the Holy Mosque. Amazing service. The staff is very supportive especially Mr. Mosa. Very friendly atmosphere and great food at Rand Restaurant

Great location. Haram is only a few hundred meters walk from the hotel. I was taking my mom in the wheelchair easily. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. The reception staff needs some training. When I was checking out from the hotel, my mom was thirsty and asked the receptionist if she can have some drinking water. The receptionist rudely replied they do not have water, you better get it from outside. And the fact of the matter is we left some water in our room when we checked out. Our whole good experience turned bitter, and we decided not to consider Le Meridien ever for our stays

The distance to Haram was acceptable...not that far to walk. The rooms were comfortable for 2 but the lifts, though there were six, but they were quite slow in waiting. The food I would give a 4/10...the breakfast menu were on repeat everyday which honestly bore us, thus we'd prefer having breakfast outside. Lunch and dinner were 6/10... bearable to eat but again very little of vegetable, except on the last day! Room service was 8/10...the staffs were hospitable and always asked permission before entering to clean our room. Traffic wise, since it is located by the roadside, it is 24-7 busy with passerbys and guests that checked in and out.

I’m extremely disappointed with how this hotel handled my reservation. Due to the recent airspace closures in the Middle East caused by the conflict, my flight was cancelled and it became impossible for me to travel. This situation was completely outside of my control. I contacted the hotel through Booking.com requesting a refund for the prepaid reservation, explaining the circumstances and providing the context. Unfortunately, the hotel rejected the request without giving any explanation. Even more frustrating, they never responded to my emails and their phone line goes unanswered. What makes this experience particularly disappointing is that I never even had the chance to stay at the hotel. I was simply asking for understanding given an extraordinary situation affecting international travel. Ignoring messages and refusing to communicate with guests is not acceptable customer service. Based on this experience alone, I would strongly caution others before booking here, especially if your plans could be affected by unexpected travel disruptions.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service. My flight was cancelled due to the current Middle East conflict and I was not able to travel for Umrah in this Ramadan. My hotel in Makkah understood my situation and refunded me in full despite a non-refundable booking. I was expecting the same level of courtesy and understanding from Valy hotel as it is supposed to be a top hotel in Madinah. However, they declined and when I gave them full details with evidence from Emirates on my flight cancellation, they did not even respond. I was hoping to try to travel again this year inshallah and would have looked at this hotel but after this experience, I will revert to Zamzam or other top hotels where I stayed in the past.

Lovely hotel near gate 365 of the Masjid Nabawi. Clean, spacious rooms and plenty of lifts! My highlight would be the service the staff provided especially during breakfast and suhoor. Staff could not do enough for you. They served complimentary dates and khava at Magrib time and again the same staff member was really polite, helpful and spoke English.

Highly recommended! Second stay here and I think we’ll keep coming back! From the moment you step into the hotel, you are welcomed with exceptional warmth and kindness. What an exceptional team you have Valy! The rooms are impeccably maintained, with spacious and very comfortable beds. A big shoutout to the house keeping staff who made sure to stock up water, tea and sugar for us regularly! Both breakfast and dinner were outstanding, offering good quality and variety. What elevated the experience even further was the attentive and thoughtful service. Mr. Firoz, who looked after our table, provided remarkable hospitality. He went above and beyond to make our Suhoor as comfortable as possible. In a beautiful display of attention to detail, he noticed an uncut orange on our table and promptly returned with a plate of freshly sliced oranges. He also made sure to keep our table full of water and drinks. It’s these small, thoughtful gestures that made us feel truly valued and spoiled. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience.

Firoz at the restaurant was absolutely brilliant, and the cleaning service was spot on throughout our stay. The location is ideal, especially if you have small children — it’s only a 3–4 minute walk to Masjid al-Nabawi. It’s also close to the museum area, where you can find nice, decent, and clean restaurants serving quality food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

My recent stay at this hotel in Medina was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the reception and housekeeping staff exhibited a level of professionalism and hospitality that truly stands out. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the management team, particularly Mr. Taha and Mrs. Wed, whose warmth and welcoming demeanor made my experience even more memorable. The hotel restaurant staff were consistently attentive, creating a delightful dining atmosphere. One standout, Mohamed, went above and beyond to meet my needs, showcasing the exceptional customer service this hotel embodies. Overall, the staff demonstrated remarkable kindness and dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Medina and look forward to returning in the future.

4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 Our stay at this hotel is satisfying. The rooms are quite large and super well equipped, the furniture and amenities are new. As for the cleanliness of the premises, it is impeccable and a super good smell is diffused. We enjoyed the buffet, which offered a wide choice between sweet and salty. The staff is very caring for the clients (special mention to the buffet manager, Mrs Ward). The bakery section could be improved. The location of the hotel is excellent, but the gates of Masjid Al Haram for women are a bit far away.

Had a great stay at this hotel! The room was always super clean and comfortable, thanks to the amazing housekeeping team. Big thanks to Sams and Kawser for keeping everything spotless and being so friendly every day. Also want to give a shout-out to Mr. Furqon, the supervisor — you can tell he runs a tight ship. The whole team made the stay feel easy and relaxing. Would definitely come back!

I visited Madina with my family after Umrah and stayed in Valy Al Madina. The hotel is close to Masjid an Nabawi, which is a couple of minutes walk away. Valy Al Madina is clean and kept to a very high standard with large rooms, ample buffet breakfast, including access to a shopping centre. We were especially pleased with Rayhan who would meet us every morning with a lovely warm smile. His caring and hard work ethics were evident not only in the way he carries himself but also his attention to ensuring our room was kept tidy and clean at all times. Greatful to have had such a lovely service from a kind and caring person who takes pride in his work and ensures comfort of his guests. As we depart we would like to wish Rayhan the best and thank him and his supervisor Mahboob for the great service. It really was above and beyond all round service, including all the nameless catering staff.

After a long journey from Makkah, I had mentally prepared myself to deal with the usual rude customer service I’ve experienced elsewhere. But Valy Hotel truly left me speechless—in the best way possible. From the moment I arrived, I was met with genuine kindness and exceptional service that completely changed my expectations. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly welcoming. Every staff member I encountered was helpful, polite, and always ready with a smile. I want to give a special shoutout to Rayhan—if I could give 10 stars instead of just 5, I would! He was always available when I needed something and handled every request quickly and professionally. His attitude and dedication made a huge difference during our stay. Thank you, Valy Hotel, for making our holiday so special. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I will absolutely return—and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, kindness, and top-tier service.

We had lovely time in Valy Al Madina. The rooms were very clean, the front office /Reception team - Mr.Jihad did our check-in to a suitable room understanding our needs. We had lovely breakfast and dinner in the hotel during our stay. Breakfast had wide selection to cater international guests along with majority of Mediterranean cuisines. Loved 😍 wide selection of cheese 🧀. we met some lovely people like Mr. Mahmoud, Mr. Mohammed Shamim, Mr. Kamran in the mezzanine floor making our dining experience very comfortable and enjoyable. They were all very proactive and keen is understanding our needs and served us with great care and kindness. Will recommend Valy hotel to our friends and family in London. Thank you very much to Guest service team in Valy Hotel.

I think this hotel has a lot of potential if they fix some things. Wifi is incredibly slow and doesn’t work most of the time. The breakfast food was never hot for some reason and more variety can make it better. However, the only redeeming quality I found was the staff! The staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is provided. Housekeeping was so incredibly efficient and quick. I have to give a big thank you to M.D Shamim for being probably the best employee! We met him when we would come for breakfast. We noticed he was constantly working while also being so observant of people’s needs. My dad was struggling with the toaster and immediately Shamim came by and told my dad to take a seat and he would personally toast his bread and bring it to him. He knew my mom had a cough so he would bring her mint-lemon-honey water. He would continuously check in on us and bring us lots of tea or whatever else we needed! So if the Valy management is reading this you guys need to promote Shamim, he is way too talented and dedicated to not be rewarded for his work ethic. With such a great staff if the Valy management decides to fix a few things they could be a 5 star place.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The hospitality was exceptional, and I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Jehad at the reception for his outstanding service. The hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Almasjid, Gate 37, making it easy to access the main attractions. The room was fantastic, featuring new, modern furniture that made my stay incredibly comfortable. Iftar was another highlight of my stay – the variety and quality of the food were simply amazing. A big thank you to the restaurant staff and Chef Sobhi and Mr. Mahmoud for making each meal memorable. I highly recommend this hotel
