A 3-star hotel but feels like a 2-star hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are quite clean, although there are flies. As for the minus points are: 1. The elevator is always crowded. 2. The restaurant discriminates against Indonesians and other nationalities. 3. The Wi-Fi doesn't connect. 4. The restaurant food is not tasty. 5. The restaurant is dirty and full of trash. You should consider another hotel if you're going to Mecca. Read less

This is the worst hotel i am staying in it i will tell you guys not to book this hotel again yeah it is closure to haram but still if we go little bit away you can get much good hotel. Here i am telling you why not to book this hotel agian 1)Room service zero star 2)Room door not closing properly 3)Room bathroom are not with proper kit like dustbin bot their and shower is rusted if the maintenance worker comes it is working for 2-3 hrs then same problem again brush stand not available towel and cloths are broken 4) Extra room keys not given 5)Housekeeping not available on every floor so if you forgot key you have to go down for housekeeping to unlock room 6)wifi is not working everytime 7) you only get shampoo to use in bathroom no body wash,hand wash gel or shower gel 8)room service available every 3days according to them but after 3 days they have lot of workto do so your room is not getting cleaned 9)room are to small that you have adjust your luggage on your bed 10)towels available after 3days according to them but after 3days they do not ask or come from there side to provide new towel Also they put napkin in new rooms as a towel 11) restaurants are ridiculous to cluster area also we have to give coupons everytime we enter there 12) only main 4lifts available so at the time of season you cannot handle 13)suggest to not to book this hotel again…. 14) cleaning is not don’t properly mosquitoes are in room 24hrs they even do not help us -1/10 star rating Read less

Overall this is 2 stars hotels with no deserving a star at all. Unfortunately the picts of room are not as reality. It is not really good hotel facilities and service. The staffs have poor hospitality and lack of manners. The room is small with lack of cleanlines. If you book for 2 people in room you even will be more dissapointed. Some of amenities are not well functioned, and it seems it is not being properly maintained due to high occupancy. The food is so so. Not sure why they make differentiation food between Indonesia and Malaysia. (Malaysian has more qualified food) Read less

The room was in clean and excellent condition. I would consider this a 4-star hotel. The distance to haram is about 3-5 min depending on your walking pace. They did not have a parking space, however, right next to it is a parking garage where you pay 150 SAR for 24 hours. The food options around it aren’t that great, however, if you walk for 5 min, you can find excellent restaurants. Overall, a great experience, good customer service and would stay there again! The service is of low quality; they don’t supply water bottles to their customers. We had to go out and buy a water bottle ourselves. The lack of basic amenities is disappointing, especially considering the price we paid. It felt as if they were cutting corners, prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction. We expected a much higher standard of service. If they can't even provide something as simple as water, it's hard to trust their commitment to quality in other areas. After our experience, we’re unlikely to return or recommend this place to others. Improvements are desperately needed if they want to retain their clientele. Read less

I am staying in this hotel since 16th May 2025 for performing Hajj. For first 7 days we have got excellent experience in Tower A. Then they shifted my room to Tower B after few days. That room was full of smell from Toilate which was terrible and was unable to breath. After requesing so many times they inspected the room but not wanted to change the room. We keep insisting for change and by next day we moved to Madina for 7 days. Again I returned to Makkah on 1st Of June and found they shifted the room to another room in Tower B. All though the room seemed to be ok at first but spending an hour we found the same problem in the room > bad smell from toilate.. I am so frustrated now that dont know how to deal with this again.. Overall, I recommend the facility due to its close proximity from Al-Haram, available amenities around, and great room service. The only improvement I suggest is the front desk and porter service. As the lights will wake everyone up. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor and an available restaurant and barbershop and other surrounding amenities. Our experience staying here during Ramadan. - no mineral water, coffee, tea, sugar, provided in the room. only provided a kettle and 2 cups. were we told to boil our own water? haha. - we have asked the cleaning service 3 times to ask for towels, but on the third day they only gave us. and very indifferent. - during the 5 nights of staying, the room was not cleaned. - the restaurant is very crowded, sometimes you can't get a seat to iftar and eat sahur. and the hotel does not allow food to be brought to the room. - the restaurant food is not varied, fried chicken for 3 days in a row. not appetizing. rarely any fruit, if there is only 1 fruit variant (banana or orange). once on a food day, the protein was only BAKSO, no other protein + white rice. - The sahur restaurant schedule is from 1.30 am until the hour before adzan subuh. But when we arrived 40 minutes before adzan subuh the food was no longer available. Hopefully there will be improvements from the hotel. Read less

Hotel The hotel is very good in terms of its distance from the Haram and cleanliness. Room service is excellent; as soon as you contact them, the response time is fast and they do everything you ask for, unlike many hotels in Mecca. The negative impact is that the rooms are somewhat small, and the carpet feels not very clean. In my opinion, this is due to the use of street shoes inside the rooms and the high turnover of guests, which makes it difficult to clean the carpet thoroughly between each guest. It would be better to remove the carpet and have marble or parquet flooring for easier cleaning between guests. Read less

We recently stayed at Safwat Al Madinah. I was apprehensive reading -ve rreviews. Much to my surprise it was one of the most pleasant stay at Madinah Munnawara. Given the proximity to Masjid e Nabwi there were very few times we prayed inside the hotel. The Receptionist was very kind and accommodating in changing our room to wheel chair accessible room. Whilst, the rooms are small we managed using a wheel chair inside the hotel room so it's not a very small room. The Staff were kind too as they would visit twice for toiletries etc. Note : As the Hotel is close to Masjid e Nabwi, we were bringing zam zam to drink everyday, Allhumdulillah. This may be the reason why water bottles are not provided. We had a good experience at this Hotel. Read less

I am very disappointed with this hotel. The room given to us was extremely small, yet it had four beds squeezed inside. We couldn’t even open our luggage properly, and there was hardly any space to move around. We also need space to pray, but the room layout made it almost impossible to perform our prayers comfortably. For the price and expectation, this was not acceptable at all. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the room arrangements for future guests. Read less

These guys have fitted 4 beds in rooms meant for two beds only. Receptionist will never pick up the phone. Room cleaning service is slow, toilets are very small and not very clean, you will occasionally notice cockroaches as well.
