I stayed at the Anjum Hotel for 7 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. Muhammad Aala was an excellent chef who made my omelette perfectly every morning and even remembered my order each day. That personal touch really meant a lot. Room service was also great. I would especially like to mention Jamal Rahman on the 21st floor, he is a very hardworking young man and provided wonderful service. The stay from check-in was great and very helpful. They welcomed us warmly, took all our bags from taxi to carrier, placed them in our room, and arranged room exactly as we requested. The cleaning service is very polite and available 24/7. They clean even if you give them only five minutes while you’re in a rush they are always ready to help and make sure the room stays clean. I got ill during my stay and requested lemon with salt, and it always arrived within seconds. Ibrahem (Abu Amal), Chief of Staff, showed great hospitality. He always checked in to see if we needed anything and greeted us with a smile every time we saw him, he always seek feedback to ensure services are top notch , and that is highly appreciated and rarely found, he must be definitely a valuable staff member. The room had a great view of Masjid Alharam, and the breakfast had everything fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend. Read less

i am staying at the anjum hotel for 5 days today is my fourth day and before i even end my trip i can Wholeheartedly say it is the best And most convenient hotel to stay at The location is In an amazing place, meaning the views from the window are beautiful Walking to the kaaba To perform Umrah Is so fast and convenient, especially After performing when you’re tired and all you want to do is go back to your hotel. The rooms are beautifully set up beds are made every single day without fail. The hotel provides water tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, razors, anything you may need Including an iron, a hairdryer and towels they even have a safe to put valuables in. The cleaners are Mostly Bengali and are extremely respectful They won’t touch a single item that Belongs to you, which I find very important. I even left a shopping bag full of rubbish and they didn’t take it just in case it was something that belonged to me. They have a lot of respect For visitors. And have helped us out a lot, They regularly topped up our Waters etc. And I just think they make the whole Umrah process so much smoother. The hotels have many lifts, although the lifts are busy it gets the job done They have communal seating areas And shops on the bottom floor in case you need anything. The entire hotel is spotless Which is constantly cleaned throughout the day it is beautifully decorated And definitely worth the money. We had booked the hotel with a breakfast buffet that was also good. It had a quick sign in system and you was free to eat whatever you wanted. The waiters are also respectful helping whenever they can. The Food is generally good there’s a huge variety Which is good for kids and picky eaters. Alhamdulillah my family and I had they opportunity to make umrah last week. We stayed in Anjum Hotel. Overall the experience has been wonderful. The hotel is of close proximity to the Haram. We booked a quad room and it was clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was luxurious. The only thing I wish the hotel would consider is to have shopping next to it. Good experience at anjum. The service is great, Housekeeping MD Taskin room 1121 there's a café with many options to eat from. The workers are also wonderful. One of the workers Shuaib, who works in the food service area was really nice, he made sure that we got anything we needed. Along side him was the breakfast manager Amjd, who is also kind and was helpful. The café on the ground floor is also a good place for food or for tea. I would highly recommend ordering the lamb chopps or the pizzas. The location is also wonderful , it's a 5 minute walking distance to masjid al haram. They dont allow to eat in other sections. And the Pakistani food is so spicy with same sort of food everyday. I had full board meal plan and literally got sour throat in just 3 days. The booking was for 8 days. Won't recommend anyone to book this hotel with food plan. Worst food discrimination and same spicy food everyday. It has been a smooth experience with Anjum hotel. For me it’s the first time however my brother are regulars during the last 10 days of holy month Ramadan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the booking however when we explained the matter the hotel staff were very considerate and understanding. I personally appreciate the housekeeping team Ma’amon, Mukhtar and their supervisor Kazi. They are very attentive, hard workers and friendly. Surely this hotel we will consider in our next visit. It is not about the variety it is about the quality of food even the bread you feel it is backed since a couple of days and the croissants is made of the same bread material Room service the worst thing in this hotel you must ask and call them a lot of times in order to have your request done even I asked the guy to pick the trash and left it for him outdoor and he was there doing another room but he left without picking it and you keep asking for new towels or any other default amenities you need The safe box is not working and they changed it 2 times till now and it is still not working Other Hotel facilities are good and the reception guys are helpful but they are the only ones here It is my 1st time in this hotel and it will be my last one for sure Read less

If you have confirmed your stay earlier they will treat you like goons. The worst side of the hotel is the location. You have to literally ride a 20 meter high road on the way back to hotel from haram. And trust me you would rather prefer walking 300 meters in the sun than this 100 meter steep road. After all of that we entered the room that was extremely dirty nuts on the carpet, dust on tables and tissues on the carpet. One of the toilets smelled so bad as if it wasn’t cleaned. Beds are not comfortable at all. No slippers in the room. No bath robe for shower. There is a Nespresso machine with no capsules; if you don’t want to add capsules remove the machine. The fridge was empty, 3 or 4 water bottles were in the room. When I book a Junior suite at a 5 star hotel, I would expect more!! Read less

The housekeeping did not clean the room properly — there were noticeable areas that seemed overlooked, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. Additionally, the washrooms were extremely small, to the point where it was difficult to move around comfortably. On a positive note, the staff was kind and courteous throughout my stay. They were polite and willing to help when approached, which I appreciated. However, due to the cleanliness issues and the cramped washroom space, I don’t feel the stay met my expectations. The only real advantage of Dallah Taibah is the location — it’s very close to the Haram, which is convenient. Unfortunately, that’s about where the positives end. This is not a 5 star hotel. At max it’s a 2 star. The rooms feel old, small, and very cramped. The bathrooms are extremely tight — barely enough space to move — and water leaks out easily, making the whole space uncomfortable to use. For the price you pay, the condition of the rooms is disappointing. Service was also frustrating. I called the front desk twice requesting an extra blanket and never received it. When I finally went downstairs after waiting over an hour, the staff member at the desk (I wish I had gotten his name) responded very rudely and insisted it had already been sent, which it clearly had not. The attitude made a simple request feel like an inconvenience. My biggest issue is that hotels like this seem to have little incentive to upgrade or improve because they rely entirely on their location. Guests end up paying premium prices for outdated facilities and poor service. Oh and their card machines to enter into hotel are from the 90s so you can waste a good 45 mins getting a new card because the old one didn’t work. That’s a huge negative when time is precious during Ramadan. Read less

Avoid this hotel if you're looking to go to Madinah. Dar al Eiman is better. Rooms stink of fags and there was a vomit smell in the corridor. Agoda and the hotel advertise the rooms as suites but they have no lounges as shown on photos. It's just standard rooms. Hotel staff are intrusive and linger around for tips. Flys in the restaurant. Ive stayed all over the world and this hotels seems to be the worst of my stays and I travel simple. Management won't help they just offer lip service. Hotel is old and dated and if you complain to agoda they just say theyre booking agents so cannot help. If you want to be close to the haram then go for Dar al Eiman. This is not a fake review, I have receipts for proof. Id advise to stay away and book with booking.com as theyre customer services help out better than agoda. I stayed at Dallah Taibah Hotel from 24th January to 31st January 2026. Overall, my experience was good. Although the hotel is quite old and the rooms are outdated, its biggest advantage is its excellent location. It is very close to the Haram, and shops and food outlets are also nearby, which made everything very convenient. The housekeeping staff was very kind and helpful. I would especially like to mention Mr. Majid at the front desk, who was soft-spoken and very cooperative. Overall, I would rate this hotel 8/10. Read less

From disappointment to heartfelt hospitality: I stayed at Dallah Taibah Hotel during my Umrah trip, checking in on July 22, 2025. While my initial experience was quite disappointing due to the condition of the room and a lack of timely response at the front desk, what followed in the later part of my stay turned things around in a meaningful way. After I posted a critical review on July 24, I was personally contacted on the evening of July 26 by Mr. Waleed Al-Harbi, Rooms Division Manager. His outreach was sincere, respectful, and focused on resolving the situation the right way. He acknowledged the feedback without defensiveness and explained that a full renovation of the hotel is scheduled in the coming months, which was reassuring to hear. To make up for the earlier experience, Mr. Waleed: Upgraded me to an Executive Suite for the final two nights Included breakfast for the remainder of my stay Granted a late checkout Provided his direct WhatsApp contact and business card, showing a clear commitment to guest care The upgraded room was significantly more comfortable, and the responsiveness I experienced from that point onward reflected a strong sense of hospitality and leadership. On our final day, I received a follow-up from the Front Desk Manager, Ms. Shaimaa, who warmly confirmed and approved my late checkout request for 6:00 PM. After we checked out, while I was arranging our ride, she came outside to personally see off my wife and daughters. She surprised us with a small, sweet parting gift — a gesture that truly delighted my family and left a lasting impression. It was thoughtful, gracious, and very much appreciated. While the property still has visible areas that need renovation and modernization, I want to sincerely acknowledge the efforts of both Mr. Waleed and Ms. Shaimaa. Their kindness, follow-through, and professionalism stood out and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. This review has been updated to reflect the full experience — from the initial challenges to the way management handled them with care and hospitality. The staff was very courteous they allowed me early check in & check out which I really appreciate. The only thing is they need to upgrade bathrooms. I did speak to several other guests, and all said the same. Even the doorman staff are rude let alone reception staff. Please avoid this hotel, many other hotels on the same strip with better pricing. You will not get your room in time, they will ask to wait in their cafe for hours on. Walls and doors are paper thin so you’ll hear everyone else. However, the cleanliness of the place and quality of the service provided by the hotel and management make up for it. Parking is 60riyals per day.
