The rooms are always well-maintained, the check-in process is smooth, and the staff consistently go above and beyond to make my stays enjoyable. I would especially like to recognize Monir Yousuf from the restaurant staff for his outstanding service. He is always professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We recently stayed at the Hilton convention in February, just before Ramadan. Let’s be clear- This is not 5 star by any means. Maybe a solid 4 star The positives are that the breakfast is great (at breakfast, Aktaruzzaman was attentive and lovely!). Also that the cleaning and food service staff are friendly and happy to help. The location is good ( just a small uphill walk that can be tiring but still very close) The partial view from our room of the haram was enjoyable. The negatives are; The main desk staff can often be busy as there have only ever been two available at a time- so it takes longer to be seen. They can sometimes be a-little rude. The phone in our room wasn’t working - I asked if it could be replaced but it didn’t happen. The iron wasn’t working but that was surprisingly replaced quickly when asked. The kettle didn’t work always. Some of our plugs also didn’t work in our room and made a crackling sound when used. Our room had some small bits that also needed fixtures like the cracked light shade in the bathroom or the tear in the lamp (maybe I’m being picky but if you call yourself 5….) Read less

The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished, with breathtaking views of the Holy Mosque. The overall atmosphere is calm and respectful, which made our spiritual journey even more meaningful. We booked breakfast as well, and I must say there were so many varieties to choose from, and your plate was never empty. It was delicious. I also ordered room service for my son, who only has English food and didn't want to take him out to feed him, but me and my husband and I enjoyed our traditional foods outside. Room service food was a delight, and my son really enjoyed it. They also rang to get feedback, which I thought was very nice. The chick in procedure could take a while as for some new guests should confirm about parking is included in there stay or not. One thing that they should have done is there was no security guard to guide for parking in basement and there is a slope at the parking entrance which whole entering during the day is not much visible, I would like if the hotel came with a solution for that. According to my family this room is perfect. The hotel service is very good, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious, especially the Falafel which has a savory taste. In the afternoon and evening, we went to the lounge for Afternoon Tea and dinner. The dinner is very good, especially if there is rice. Absolutely amazing stay and brilliant service! In-detail review below: Check-In Experience 5/5 We were a family of 5 (Adults) and we checked in around 12.30am and the hotel lobby was quiet. Luggage was offloaded by the staff and taken inside and was told to check-in at the reception. Was greeted well and I provided by booking details to the receptionist. He was very attentive and answered any questions I had. As we had two rooms booked, he asked if we would like to have the rooms on the same floor. Paid the remainder of the rooms via credit card which went smoothly. Took around 10 minutes for the whole check in process which was very good. Rooms 4/5 Rooms were perfect and clean. We were given a 4-bed room for 3 of us which was ample. and a 2-queen bed for the ladies. View was partial haram which was good. Some amenities listed on Booking.com were not present such as the slippers and bathrobe but we weren't too concerned about these. Only given 4/5 for this because someone else might require these amenities and if they are listed they should be provided but weren't big of a deal for us. Also one out of the two rooms booked did not have any drinks or snacks in the mini fridge although the other room did. Laundry Service 5/5 Quick and efficient and offered us free ironing and folding which are usually charged. Could not complain about this service as it was perfect as you'd expect. Customer Service 5/5 Calls from the room landline were answered immediately and always helpful on the other side. All queries answered thoroughly. Shuttle Service 4/5 24-Hour shuttle is a good service to provide, however was not as expected as it only takes you to the flat part near the shops at the bottom. Does not take you the front of the marbled area of the masjid. So you still need to walk around 4-5 minutes to get to the marbled area. Sometimes takes very long to come especially in the late night hours between 1 and 4am. Read less

I was booked at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel and when I arrived in Makkah I was transferred to the Hilton Convention Hotel without prior notice or a letter stating that the hotel will be changed. I had to wait in the lobby of the hotel for three hours after a long travel trip under the pretext that my reservation information had not been transferred from the first hotel (Double Tree) even though the hotel had been booked a whole week in advance. I just want to notice that it will be my first and last experience of this bad hotel The rating on the reservation sites page and Google Maps will be poorly rated + never mention this place to anyone Regards , Read less

The hotel’s location is also excellent, with easy access to the Haram through the side gate, making it very convenient especially during prayer times. There are tons of great food options on a walking distance to the hotel. Taxi, Madina Sightseeing bus (hop on hop off), pharmacies, grocery, and all kinds of shopping are all very close. We really loved our stay at the hotel. We stayed in a quad room, which was very capacious, clean, and amazing. WiFi is super fast, and buffet breakfast is THE BEST, with tons of options for everyone. This is truly the hospitality you get from the lovely people of Almadinah. A special shout-out to our housekeeping guy, Sadam — he was really nice, generous, and honestly the highlight of our stay. His supervisor, Mahabul Islam, was also very professional and made sure everything was perfect. I also loved the variety at breakfast; the restaurant was very clean, cozy, and well organized. AVOID at all costs - Misleading 5-Star Rating This hotel is an absolute disappointment and a far cry from the 5-star rating it boasts online. The experience was terrible from start to finish, and I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. Poor Cleanliness: The room was not clean upon arrival. The bathroom was particularly shocking, with visible grime on the tiles and a general sense of neglect. For a supposed 5-star hotel, this is completely unacceptable. Lifts are a Nightmare: With only three working lifts for a 13-floor hotel, getting anywhere is a major ordeal. What should be a quick 3-minute walk to the mosque turned into a frustrating 30-minute journey just because of the long wait times for the lifts. This is a massive inconvenience, especially for a hotel that caters to pilgrims. Horrible Breakfast Experience: The breakfast was chaotic and unorganized. None of the food items were labeled, so you had to guess what everything was. The egg station had a single, incredibly slow worker, leading to long queues. This lack of organization and poor service makes for a very unpleasant start to the day. Terrible Odors: The hallway on my floor had a persistent and awful smell that was truly unbearable. It made the entire experience feel dirty and unhygienic. Overall, this hotel is poorly managed, unhygienic, and a complete waste of money. Terrible Experience – Not a 5-Star Hotel! Do not be fooled by the 5-star rating — this hotel is barely a 3-star at best. Our first room had visible mould, a broken shower and bathtub, filthy carpets, and layers of dust and dirt everywhere. We requested a room change, but the second room had the exact same issues. The third room was even worse — it started to smell like sewage shortly after we checked in. The entire hotel is extremely outdated, with rooms that look like they haven’t been renovated since the 1980s. This is nowhere near the standard you’d expect from a supposed 5-star establishment. To make matters worse, Alharam Travel (Romford Road, London) changed our hotel last minute — not once, but twice — and placed us in this awful place. Completely unacceptable and disappointing from both the hotel and the travel agency. Avoid at all costs. Read less

One of the highlights of my stay was the food selection offered during breakfast and lunch. While not exceptional, the choices were satisfactory, and the quality was decent enough to start the day with a good meal. I especially enjoyed the Dacidoff coffee sachet provided in the room, which was a delightful touch. Speaking of the rooms, I found them to be quite pleasant overall. The mattress was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep, and I was pleased to find two pillows for each occupant, allowing for personalized comfort. As per picture, you guys can see there is a steel peice has been fixed on the pillar behind the bed. My son was sleeping on bed , during he sleep he turned his hands towards another direction and touched this steel piece, which results cuts on his hands due to this steel decoration peice has sharp edges. You guys can see the blood on the bed of my son. I informed Mr. Khaled the duty manager, they just said one thing. We apologise for this, we will give you discount on your next visit. The beds are good but the extra bed was not that comfortable. The breakfast restaurant was packed with many guests even at the start time of the breakfast at 6 am ! The carpets were very old, some of the sockets didn't work, the wallpaper was falling off and the service was very poor.
