I stayed at the Anjum Hotel for 7 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. Muhammad Aala was an excellent chef who made my omelette perfectly every morning and even remembered my order each day. That personal touch really meant a lot. Room service was also great. I would especially like to mention Jamal Rahman on the 21st floor, he is a very hardworking young man and provided wonderful service. The hotel itself is good, comfortable, and well managed, though it is a bit far from Door 79 of Masjid al-Haram. Overall, it was a good stay. Read less

The stay from check-in was great and very helpful. They welcomed us warmly, took all our bags from taxi to carrier, placed them in our room, and arranged room exactly as we requested. The cleaning service is very polite and available 24/7. They clean even if you give them only five minutes while you’re in a rush they are always ready to help and make sure the room stays clean. I got ill during my stay and requested lemon with salt, and it always arrived within seconds. Ibrahem (Abu Amal), Chief of Staff, showed great hospitality. He always checked in to see if we needed anything and greeted us with a smile every time we saw him, he always seek feedback to ensure services are top notch , and that is highly appreciated and rarely found, he must be definitely a valuable staff member. The room had a great view of Masjid Alharam, and the breakfast had everything fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend. Read less

i am staying at the anjum hotel for 5 days today is my fourth day and before i even end my trip i can Wholeheartedly say it is the best And most convenient hotel to stay at The location is In an amazing place, meaning the views from the window are beautiful Walking to the kaaba To perform Umrah Is so fast and convenient, especially After performing when you’re tired and all you want to do is go back to your hotel. The rooms are beautifully set up beds are made every single day without fail. The hotel provides water tea, coffee, soap, shampoo, razors, anything you may need Including an iron, a hairdryer and towels they even have a safe to put valuables in. The cleaners are Mostly Bengali and are extremely respectful They won’t touch a single item that Belongs to you, which I find very important. I even left a shopping bag full of rubbish and they didn’t take it just in case it was something that belonged to me. They have a lot of respect For visitors. And have helped us out a lot, They regularly topped up our Waters etc. And I just think they make the whole Umrah process so much smoother. The hotels have many lifts, although the lifts are busy it gets the job done They have communal seating areas And shops on the bottom floor in case you need anything. The entire hotel is spotless Which is constantly cleaned throughout the day it is beautifully decorated And definitely worth the money. We had booked the hotel with a breakfast buffet that was also good. It had a quick sign in system and you was free to eat whatever you wanted. The waiters are also respectful helping whenever they can. The Food is generally good there’s a huge variety Which is good for kids and picky eaters. Alhamdulillah my family and I had they opportunity to make umrah last week. We stayed in Anjum Hotel. Overall the experience has been wonderful. The hotel is of close proximity to the Haram. We booked a quad room and it was clean and spacious. The breakfast spread was luxurious. The only thing I wish the hotel would consider is to have shopping next to it. Because we had to go all the way to Clock Tower and Safwah Tower to shop for souvenirs and food. Read less

Good experience at anjum. The service is great, Housekeeping MD Taskin room 1121 there's a café with many options to eat from. The workers are also wonderful. One of the workers Shuaib, who works in the food service area was really nice, he made sure that we got anything we needed. Along side him was the breakfast manager Amjd, who is also kind and was helpful. The café on the ground floor is also a good place for food or for tea. I would highly recommend ordering the lamb chopps or the pizzas. The location is also wonderful , it's a 5 minute walking distance to masjid al haram. They dont allow to eat in other sections. And the Pakistani food is so spicy with same sort of food everyday. I had full board meal plan and literally got sour throat in just 3 days. The booking was for 8 days. Won't recommend anyone to book this hotel with food plan. Worst food discrimination and same spicy food everyday. It has been a smooth experience with Anjum hotel. For me it’s the first time however my brother are regulars during the last 10 days of holy month Ramadan. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the booking however when we explained the matter the hotel staff were very considerate and understanding. I personally appreciate the housekeeping team Ma’amon, Mukhtar and their supervisor Kazi. They are very attentive, hard workers and friendly. Surely this hotel we will consider in our next visit. It is not about the variety it is about the quality of food even the bread you feel it is backed since a couple of days and the croissants is made of the same bread material Room service the worst thing in this hotel you must ask and call them a lot of times in order to have your request done even I asked the guy to pick the trash and left it for him outdoor and he was there doing another room but he left without picking it and you keep asking for new towels or any other default amenities you need The safe box is not working and they changed it 2 times till now and it is still not working Other Hotel facilities are good and the reception guys are helpful but they are the only ones here It is my 1st time in this hotel and it will be my last one for sure Read less

Must consider review before booking This is the worst 5 star hotel I have been too. Too small unclean rooms. The receptionists don't know how to talk to guests. If you have confirmed your stay earlier they will treat you like goons. The worst side of the hotel is the location. You have to literally ride a 20 meter high road on the way back to hotel from haram. And trust me you would rather prefer walking 300 meters in the sun than this 100 meter steep road. Completely rubbish experience overall. I had my old parents with me. It was painful experience for them considering their health. Money down the drain. Read less

After all of that we entered the room that was extremely dirty nuts on the carpet, dust on tables and tissues on the carpet. One of the toilets smelled so bad as if it wasn’t cleaned. Beds are not comfortable at all. No slippers in the room. No bath robe for shower. There is a Nespresso machine with no capsules; if you don’t want to add capsules remove the machine. The fridge was empty, 3 or 4 water bottles were in the room. When I book a Junior suite at a 5 star hotel, I would expect more!! Read less

Room is nice bed is nice the location is super good very near to the entrance of masjid Nabawi (gate 333) . I went through reviews before and some people are really mean, the service is excellent. Everyone is smiling in your face, giving you a hope all will be good and welcoming feeling. My agency booked me a hotel within the same company, and at that previous lobby I was waiting for room, and could see that staff at reception no smile, no care, and concierge were racist and not helpful at all, with crowd and an elevator that go stuck and Engineer that take 20 min to come to fix it, so i got scared and asked my agency to chance hotel, and even if I had to pay some difference I never regret it. The receptionist Abdullah and Abdulrahman had a very good customer care. Lobby even with crowed was managed properly and welcoming drinks was available. Room service options and promotions are to take, no point to eat outside trust me, you pay same at the hotel with good portion and service and very delicious food either broasted chicken, or the meat byriani, so delicious. The breakfast has many options and egg live station, and the manager was going everywhere to check that things are smooth, during crowd today they opened buffet in 1st floor plus the M floor and it was well organized as well. Last and not least, housekeeping in our floor 2nd was good and willing to assist. Again with a genius smile. Thank you everyone for the effort you making. This does not go un-noticed. The rooms smell of cigarettes and the pillows and bedcovers are just dirty, they don't give a nice feel at all. The pillows are too hard aswell I was literally using the extra blanket in the room as a pillow for the 8 days I stayed here. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone really, never booking this again. PS. Don't fall for the pictures they have posted, the real thing is quite different. Read less

I feel this hotel in needs to upgrade in many ways as I been told that all rooms have this bath tub showers which is not up dated as a walk in shower is more suited because I see lots of guests elderly and on the bath tub showers one fall or slip is dangerous no rail to hold so hope the hotel changes this. As fir other we are 3 guests and have only two cups fir tea or coffee and when asked I was told each rooms has 3 lol like a joke toilet paper u are given two gir 3 or more people another joke tea bags same 2 3 or more that the amount of tea bags and sugar u get reading all reviews there is lots of improvement to be done overall from management to bell boy ethics service communication and humility I been here and I see lots of tourists but they are elderly they need guidance so staff need to know language and knowledge to handle it care fir elderly people. It was awful. The rooms were a disgrace. I am currently staying at this hotel and there has been constant issues the second we checked in. The entire room smelt of cigarettes despite asking for assistance from staff. We asked to change rooms yet there was the same situation. The bathroom was horrible with mould marks everywhere. Clearly nothing has been cleaned before we came in because the floors and the doors were very dirty. The shower was absolutely disgusting, the water kept falling out everywhere. The toilet seat broke which we had to call housekeeping for and yet there was issues with it. Hygiene levels need to be improved immediately as we felt very uncomfortable from the very beginning. There is very limited supply of products. In a 4 guest bedroom, they only provide one toilet tissue and when asked for more they always get very hesitant. This is for sure not a 5 star hotel it is more a 1 star. Read less

- If cleanliness and comfort matter to you, do not stay here- The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location—everything else was a complete disaster. The staff were uninterested and unhelpful, providing little to no assistance throughout our stay. The rooms were in an appalling state. The bathrooms were outdated, dirty, and barely functional, with showerheads that hardly worked. The mattresses were filthy, and, to make matters worse, several members of our group ended up covered in bed bug bites. The entire hotel had an unpleasant, stale odor that made it difficult to relax. We requested a room change due to a strong fishy smell in the first room, only to be moved to another room where we experienced the bed bug infestation. If cleanliness, comfort, and decent service matter to you, avoid this hotel at all costs. While the location is convenient, nothing else about this place is worth the stay. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It's a shame, because this was once a very good hotel. Read less

I’ve had the best experience in Shaza back in October. I’m very surprised to see the recent negative reviews though. I booked it from booking dot com and had no trouble paying at the property. Our quad room was spacious, clean and new looking. We were greeted with juices and check in was swift. We were also given complimentary fruit platter on arrival. I thought it was a one time thing only but they delivered another fruit platter to our room two days later again which was a nice surprise. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We got our rooms cleaned whenever we wanted. The breakfast buffet was really lovely too. They have live egg station but no pancakes one. Although pan cakes and french toasts are available in buffet everyday. Karak tea was being offered by a very friendly waiter everyday who made friends with my teenage son and made sure my mum got hot tea every morning. The customer relation desk lady (forgot the name) used to call us on our room telephone to check up on us every day and to see if we needed anything. In short I absolutely loved staying there and will book it again in a heartbeat as it’s only 5-6 minutes straight walk to the gate 333/334/335. Read less

They were ever helpful, always ensuring that everything was spotless and well-maintained. Their attention to detail in cleaning was truly impressive. I stayed at this hotel for six days, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room size was good, especially for a group of four. We had a four-bed room, which we converted into a master bedroom, and it provided us with ample space, even for dining in between. The location is also convenient, as it takes around 5 to 6 minutes to reach the Haram. I wouldn’t call it a bad hotel at all, and it served its purpose well for our stay. Read less
