The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well kept (some are a bit old but not bad it’s okay), The service and staff are incredible, they are really kind and helpful and help you instantly. Concierge helped us so greatly even when we had to go to another hotel they helped us with the bags. Elevators arrive very fast to take you to the room. The hotel is calm and quiet. Room service meals are superb, we ordered spaghetti and a club sandwich and they were good. Buffet for breakfast was ok, there’s a lot of variety but not all tasty. The hotel is close to the Haram especially to the umrah and to the safa and marwa (as much as possible) exit gates. Being accustomed to fairmont and grand Hyatt the only thing we’d say is that since its entrance is from the safwa towers so all the towers have a shared sort of mall which is like a local market a bit hectic, you go up 4 escalators to get to the reception and go to the rooms But overall would definitely repeat the experience. I experienced the hospitality of Al Ghufran Safwah towers over 15 years ago. It was my first Umrah experience and Al Ghufran's superb location and team's hospitality made it extra special. Since then, I have been regularly returning to it Alhamdolillah over the years with family and each time, the same confidence is reinforced. The rooms are decent, location and courteous staff are the highlight. Breakfast spread is also pretty good. Thank you and Godspeed Team Al Ghufran Safwah Hotel. Will insha'Allah continue to be back. Stayed here 25th - 31st Jan 2026 for umrah. Very impressed with the coziness & conducive rooms (we booked for connecting rooms). The frontline staff was very courteous and spoke a bit of Bahasa Melayu. Lovely !! The food spread - Masyaallah.. so many varieties, catered for almost all types of cuisines. Wish we could have sample all as but we kept on going back to our most favourite - the desserts - the best kunafa ever in the entire world !! The pastries for breakfast - so many to.choose from. The food arrays were excellent, looked very tempting and yes, all were delicious. The waiter named Masoud (if I got his name right) was very attentive & efficient. Overall, a great stay. Too bad we didn't get to enjoy to the fullest as we were focusing on our ibadah. Will definitely come back, InsyaAllah. Keep it up AGS !! Read less

The location in Safwah tower, everything is very satisfying from the reception special thanks for Nasir and Omar Jefri very helpfull I forgot to ask them to ask some body to bring down my suitcase but when im back from lunch and asked them to take my suitcase down it turned out my suitcase has already been in lobby, room service, and laundry also excellent. The food is varied and your tongue will be pampered by the various dishes, special thanks to the chef who serves very delicious food with perfect doneness, not hard and not overcooked If you want to perform Umrah and Hajj, it is better for you to stay here. This hotel is located in Safwah Towers, right by the masjid al Haram and next to the clock tower. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful, especially the reception team(Ali albishi, Miqrin, Abdul Rahman Hazrami), and the excellent concierge staff, special thanks to (Muhammad Shahzad). My only concern was the entery and exit area of the building, it gets a bit challenging with luggage as they dont have a dedicated drop-off point. However the concierge staff did their best and assisted in getting our vehicle as close to the hotel as possible. Read less

‎Extremely Disappointed And Humilated– Avoid if You’re from South Asia ‎ ‎Despite having a confirmed non-refundable booking through Agoda with a valid visa and passport, the hotel denied us check-in citing some “new government laws” that were never mentioned anywhere. We had no issues staying at other hotels like Hyatt and Taiba, so this was clearly due to poor communication and unhelpful staff here. ‎ ‎We were forced to find another hotel in 48°C heat, losing our money and wasting valuable time. This experience was stressful, humiliating, and completely avoidable. Would not recommend, especially for travelers from non-Arabic countries. ‎ ‎Thats definately not the way how you should be treating your guests!! Read less

We stayed at Al-Gufran hotel for 5 days. The water provided in the rooms at the hotel is insufficient and not enough in this hot weather. When we asked for extra water, the response we got was ridiculous. They say to ask by phone but water never comes to the rooms. We came from Türkiye for the blessed Umrah pilgrimage. I wish they were more sensitive about finding water. Read less

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Madinah. The hotel was very clean and well organized, and everything was arranged perfectly. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The location is excellent — less than 5 minutes walking distance to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, which made our stay even more comfortable and convenient. We also ordered room service, food was great. Beds are very comfortable, multiple entrances provide variety and it’s also surrounded by shops and is well serviced. Our only negative comment is that the bathrooms can be cleaner, it’s so unfortunate because otherwise we would give this hotel a 5 star rating for everything. Read less

Ahmad of the Front Office took very good care of us as we were checking in the hotel - I appreciate his generosity and warmth in welcoming us and making sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Our suite was very comfortable and cosy. Housekeeping team did a good job making sure we had what we needed. Our daily buffet breakfast on the mezzanine floor was well attended to by the warm and eager staff ( I wish I had remembered to write down their names but they were all very helpful and kind). Walk to the haram is a short distance away especially to the ladies' entrance. I was happy to be greeted warmly by the doorman every day. I found the staff there warm, kind and keen to help which enhanced the experience of our very pleasant stay at this hotel. Thank you and kudos to Ahmad and the team. Read less

The location is perfect, just a few steps from the Haram, which made every prayer incredibly convenient. The staff were kind, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the service was fast and professional. I love this hotel it’s charming beautiful clean . The staff are so nice ,we came 4 people and we booked a normal room but without us asking they upgraded it and made it a suite. We were really stressed out and tired from our travel, they made it easy for us to check in. The location and view is so beautiful! And there are a lot of shopping sites near the hotel like literally under the hotel. It’s also a two minute walk to al haram a very famous attraction which is perfect! The staff offers to come in to your room and give you some instructions about where things are and what numbers to call if you need anything and they take your bags and place them in the room for you. This was my second time staying at Dar Al Eiman Al Haram Hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the Haram, which makes it incredibly convenient for prayers and access to nearby shops and restaurants. The hotel manager and reception staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay, and their warm hospitality really stood out. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. Housekeeping was inconsistent — with some days where the room was not cleaned properly or on time. Room maintenance was also below expectations; we experienced leaking in the bathroom and signs of wear, which was disappointing, especially for a hotel that has recently undergone renovations. The condition of the rooms did not reflect the standard expected from a newly updated property. Additionally, the breakfast menu could be expanded to offer more variety, especially for guests staying multiple days or those with different dietary preferences. With better consistency in cleanliness, improved room upkeep, and a more diverse breakfast selection, this hotel could become a top choice — especially given its location and the excellent service at the front desk.
