I stayed at this hotel recently, and my experience was honestly disappointing. The rooms were spacious, and the toilets were just okay — not great, but manageable. However, a few things made the stay quite unpleasant. Firstly, if any agent tells you this is a 5-star hotel, please don’t believe it. It’s not more than a 2-star property at best. Secondly, the hygiene was unacceptable. I asked housekeeping to clean the toilet and replace the tea cups. To my shock, the staff used the same scotch-brite to clean both the wash basin and the cups, without even rinsing it in between. When I pointed it out, they denied it and laughed it off, only bringing disposable cups after repeated requests. Thirdly, the service was very poor. During checkout, no one answered my calls for help with luggage, and I had to drag everything down myself to the car. And finally, the breakfast — please don’t waste your money. It was one of the worst I’ve had: cold, not fresh, and absolutely not worth the price. At that cost, you can have a much better meal at a proper restaurant. Also, it is far from haram and includes uphill walk so if you are with someone older will totally wont recommend at all Overall, this hotel needs serious improvement in hygiene, service, and food quality. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable or pleasant stay

It’s not a 5 star hotel at all. The rooms are pretty old with no maintenance at all. The carpets are filthy with full of dust. I got serious allergy and cough due to these old, dusty carpets. The washroom needs some serious improvement with drainage and the shower area is too small to fit a single person and no lighting close to shower area. Most of the power socket are not working. The locker in my room is from 18th century and as expected not working as well. When I checked in, it took almost 30 minutes to find a person to carry my luggage and at the reception there was only 1 person most of the time who was too slow to understand and respond. They never told about WIFI and free complimentary breakfast. I wish there is the option to give negative ratings and if it’s the case, I should have given -5 rating to this 1 in in fact 0 star hotel.

If you would like to be abused by the Saudi reception staff for a simple enquiry, this is the hotel to go to. This hotel was an absolute nightmare & how it’s running I am very baffled by. First of all, the rooms are not what you see on the pictures. Or atleast, for any south asian or East Asian people. We were given rooms that had no running water nearly every morning. Our rooms didn’t even have any prayer mats in at all. Apparently their hotel policy is ‘1 key card for 1 room’. Which is a lie because when I tried getting another key card for my uncle, the gentleman infront of me was given 2 with no problem. However, when I tried to go ask for a key card, I was shouted at and told to move. I didn’t take the name of this receptionist but he is dark skinned, with glasses and has curly Afro hair. He usually works the nights there at the hotel lobby. How he has a job, is beyond me as he lacks basic customer service. The day staff are pleasant. The hotel maintenance and housekeeping staff were also pleasant minus one Sudanese brother, who complained to me for constantly needing the toilets cleaned. Sorry, but if you actually maintained your rooms, you wouldn’t need to do your job everyday. I respect the south asian workers as they were the only ones who understood the issues at hand. Never again, will I ever come to this hell hole. Management needs to up their game.

This hotel was a major disappointment. The room was not clean, the carpet was filthy, and the closet was broken. While the room service staff tried to be helpful, they weren't able to fix anything. The location is the worst part—it's not suitable for anyone with a car, a baby, or a disability, and it's far from the Haram. Avoid this hotel.

This “5-star” hotel is nothing but smoke and mirrors. From the moment we arrived, everything was a disaster — Wi-Fi never worked, the air conditioning roared like a bus engine, and the room looked like a dusty 1960s relic. Breakfast was pitiful: bland, cheap, and barely edible. Then the power went out for the ENTIRE day — no electricity, no Wi-Fi, no AC, no elevators. Phones dying, trapped in a sweltering, pitch-black room. The staff? Nowhere to be found and completely unhelpful. The only way I can imagine this place has good ratings is if they’ve paid for glowing Google reviews, because no real guest could experience this and give more than 1 star. If you value your money and your sanity, stay far away.

Extremely disappointed with my stay. We checked in last night, and from the start, we faced multiple problems. The Wi-Fi did not work at all. The air conditioning in our room was incredibly loud, like a bus engine, making it impossible to sleep peacefully. The room furniture looked like it was from the 1960s and was very outdated. This morning was even worse. The breakfast was terrible—the food was bland and the selection was poor. The power then went out for the entire day, leaving us without electricity, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, or working elevators. Our phones were dying, and we were left in a dark, stuffy room. The staff was completely absent and unhelpful throughout this ordeal. This hotel is not a 5-star experience; it's a complete failure to provide even basic services. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Had a super comfortable stay at Infinity Hotel. The hotel offers free parking within the premises, which is a big plus in Makkah. Rooms were clean, quiet, and very comfortable. A special thanks to Mr. Musaid at the reception, extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rates were very affordable (possibly due to the off-season), but overall, the experience was smooth and pleasant. Just 5–6 minutes’ walk to Haram, making it a great and convenient choice. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the Infinity Hotel with my mother during Hajj, and overall, our experience was disappointing. Food: Breakfast was always the same with no buffet option. Meals were served in pre-packed boxes with no variety. The salad, for example, was given to elderly guests in large, uncut pieces and full of raw onions — clearly lacking care and attention. For a hotel catering to pilgrims during such an important journey, this was unacceptable. Cleanliness: Housekeeping only came to empty the bins. Rooms were not cleaned unless we specifically asked, and even then, a tip was expected in return for proper service. This level of service should be standard, not conditional. Location: The location is not bad — it’s not too far from the Haram, but do keep in mind that the walk involves an uphill slope, which can be tiring for elderly guests. Overall, I expected a much higher standard of service, cleanliness, and food quality during such an important spiritual trip. I hope the management takes feedback seriously and improves the experience for future pilgrims.

The pillows and bed is so bad really had a trouble to sleep on it , breakfast and service is disaster . We had check out time at 3pm however since 12pm deferent housekeeping staff was keep coming and asking to check out immediately , surely they have worst communication with each other. There are in same area better hotels for the same price per night . Don’t suggest anyone to book this hotel if you want to have comfortable stay during your Umrah .

I don't know why this place has many negative reviews. It's not really like those negative reviews. The room service team was good. The rooms were clean. 10-15 mins walk from Masjid al haram. The return walking would be slightly challenging as it's a upward hill. Other than that everything is fine. Over-all a very good experience.

***NOT 5 STARS – Barely 2!*** This hotel is a disaster, not 5* quality. Charger plugs are blocked with plastic, no toiletries are restocked, and the "breakfast" is just bland grass and eggs. Elevators are super slow.Cockroaches roam the rooms like paying guests, everything smells awful, lighting is dim, and the shower is so tiny. The wifi in rooms also doesn’t work. No room service either—five nights, no clean-up. Only book if you don’t care about comfort or food and just want a hotel close to Al-Haram. But be warned—the hotel is on a steep hill so walking back is brutal. Avoid this place!

Rooms are showing there age. The bathroom had a leaky sink that made the floor wet. The reception service is atrocious. I understand we're in a Arabic speaking country but for a hotel with international guests, someone who speaks English would be helpful. The reception staff look bored and disinterested. Only good this the location. Wifi was very slow and sketchy.

A firealarm went off at 2:00 am on 4th floor. I took stairs to reach reception and inquire about it. The only staffmember there was like its fine, all is okay. He said this in a very unconvincing manner and unhelpful attitude. On being asked again, he be like 'i dont know english'. These arabs especially meccan ppl are rude, arrogant. I understand a firealarm must be a test routine or false one. But at least give a beforehand notification or now give a satisfying explanation so that guests can go back to sleep peacefully.

Horrible - other than the location, which is excellent if you're able to walk (12minutes away from the Haram). We were told this was a 5-star hotel. The only stars we saw were the stains on the carpets of our room. The carpet of the room was dirty, and the second we walked in, we smelt a very weird smell. Luckily, we had a scented spray with us to disguise the horrible smell. We stayed for 5 days, we didn't have Internet. I called them 3 times and they kept giving me the same wrong password and insisted it's the correct one, until finally one of them was decent enough to tell me the truth that their Internet has the capacity for 30 people only! 30 people: in a hotel that has 15 floors, and God knows how many rooms. If you just want a place to put your things at and not bothered by anything else then I'd recommend this place because of its prime location, its close to the Haram and a lot of the shops but other than that, don't bother booking there.

The lobby was beautiful; but the 5* luxury experience ends there. Before we even got in the lobby, we smelt a lingering sewer stench that was potent. This was on route to haram, which means we smelt it multiple times daily. 8 small elevators, 25 floors; horrible experience. The wifi details were placed at reception, which was convenient, but it did not work-anywhere. The 5 star breakfast buffet was barely basic. The highlight was the pastry section and even that did not have much variety. There were no fruit, yogurts, toasters, omelettes, cereals... which is the bare minimum atleast. The drinks and toiletries in our guad rooms were not sufficient for 4 people. When asked for more the housekeeping simply did not return. Anytime you ring reception for anything, they would respond 'okay' and that's all. We don't hear from them again. It took several attempts to get a bellboy to come and collect our luggage. They would hang up on us and respond aggressively time and time again. They were incredibly stingy with water bottles and toilet paper. The water pressure in the sink and shower hose was a joke. The housekeeping made our beds, and that's about it. On my last day I asked them for some disposable tea cups and they said no, because we were due to checkout in the evening. I bought a bag of snacks for my kids which also mysteriously disappeared from my room. Housekeeping claimed they didn't even see it. This hotel is no way 5 star. If you want a pleasant stay and enjoy your spiritual journey in Makkah then do not come here. It will only put a downer on your trip. The staff did not even understand yes/no in English. They would simply say okay to everything and leave it at that. It was infuriating.
Overall only the hotel distance to and from Masjidil Haram with burstling traffic, giving an individual especially oldies, handicapped need extra help and energy.

When I first arrived at Infinity hotel in Makka it was right before me and my family went to umrah. We were 5 people in 1 room we requested more beds. We came back and the beds were not there the A.C. was not working. Later we got into another room, we slept woke up and left to visit places Makka. Before we left we told housekeeping to clean our room twice, we came back and the room was very messy. We called them to come and clean they never came. Overall it was not the best experience I don't recommend it. The room was not tidied up after the first day of staying there we had to request multiple times to clean up. A ‘5-star’ hotel staff should clean the room when the customers put up the sign on the door, the A.C. Should work before people arrive the least they can do is improve the staff. The food was okay. They should improve, the only decent thing is the room and the fact you can walk to Haram. Other than that I’d not stay here.

It is a great and very convenient hotel. The food is nice and they have different dishes everyday. It is a walking distance till the Haram. The staff are nice, you may need to stay a little patient with them due to the high level of customers. The price is reasonable, they do need some improvements but out of every other hotel nearby, Infinity Hotel is probably the best option.
This was really beautiful. But sorry, I don't know about inside. Thank u

All good except few improvements based on my experience. - When doing online booking, the booking request was accepted, though, I explicitly mentioned that I'll check in Early Morning. When entered the hotel the staff won't let me check in before 4 PM. - The reception staff only speaks Arabic and don't know any other language which made the communication very difficult until you find some one with a common language as a translator.

The reception staff not cooperative at all and don't bother to listen to you. Have made all the reservations prior to arrival but still they took 2 hours to give us room. Room was not properly cleaned. So much bad smell. And too much noice from somewhere. The room was not properly cleaned. The room service doesn't pick the call 99% of the time. But the breakfast was great. The waiters were great

We had a deeply unpleasant experience at Waqf Outhman bin Affan Hotel in Madinah. Shortly after check-in, we discovered blood stains on the bed sheets, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious hygiene and health concerns. After repeatedly calling the staff, the sheets were eventually changed, but no proper explanation or sincere apology was offered. When I raised the issue at the reception, the response was dismissive and uninterested. Escalating the matter to management made no difference. Unfortunately, the way the situation was handled left us feeling that, as Indian guests, our concerns were not given the same importance or respect as those of other guests, which added to the distress of an already unacceptable hygiene issue. What made the experience even more upsetting was that housekeeping attempted to shift the blame onto us, rather than acknowledging their failure. Even after informing the staff that we would be posting this experience online, there was no change in attitude or urgency, which suggested a troubling level of indifference to guest feedback. To make matters worse, the only form of “compensation” offered was a few bottles of water, which felt inappropriate and insulting given the seriousness of the situation. In a city like Madinah, where hospitality, cleanliness, and respect for guests—especially pilgrims—should be upheld at the highest standards, this experience was extremely disappointing. Clean bed sheets are the most basic expectation of any hotel, and failing at this level raises serious concerns about overall hygiene and management practices. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

We had a very bad experience at this property, especially since we were traveling with toddlers. When we were given our room, the bed was full of dirty hair. It was extremely unhygienic and clearly showed that the room had not been cleaned properly. We immediately complained to the staff, but nothing was done for four hours. Traveling with small children, waiting that long in a dirty room was extremely stressful and unacceptable. What made the situation even worse was the poor complaint-handling process. If you complain to one staff member, that person changes after a few hours, and then you have to go through the entire process of explaining the issue again to someone new. There was no proper handover, no follow-up, and no sense of responsibility. Additionally, there were no blankets provided in the toilet/bathroom, and one of the rooms had a toilet that was not working at all, which caused major inconvenience. Overall, the rooms looked dirty, poorly maintained, and completely unsuitable for families, especially those with toddlers. The lack of cleanliness, slow response, broken facilities, and disorganized staff made this stay very unpleasant. We would not recommend this place to anyone, particularly families with young children.

The most disorganised hotel I have ever been to. At check in I could hear other guests complain about issues they were having with their check in/check out date. This continued to be a theme in the following days. We were assigned a room but when we got there we found that the room was already occupied. With 3 kids in tow this was not a slight inconvenience. This took 30 minutes if not longer to fix. The rooms were falling apart. Curtains hanging off the rail. The door looked as if it had been attacked by a wild animal. Carpets that felt dirty and unclean. No hand towels on the railing. The toilet door stiff to the extent we had to use our whole body strength to open it. The beds too high for our children to climb on to. The pillows so high and hard we all left with neck cramps. The day after we checked in we were told we were expected to check out. This seemed to be an ongoing theme. Nearly every day we were told to check out despite clarifying the day before our check out date. The best part of the stay was the efforts of the hard working Bangladeshi staff who tried the best to accommodate us. The location wasn’t too bad closer to the women’s entrance of Masjid Nabawi but so were lots of rather hotels. Stay at one of them and save yourself a headache.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days December during Umrah, and unfortunately, it was a truly disappointing experience, despite the hotel having a lot of potential and it was too late to cancel I did see the negative reviews and didn’t believe it at first. The building itself is dated, but the room sizes are large and the location is good—only about a 5-minute walk from Gate 326 of the Prophet’s Mosque. However, these positives were outweighed by poor housekeeping and management. On the first day of arrival, we were given two adjoining rooms. In both rooms, the fridge was broken, the safe did not work, and the TV was not functioning. After repeated complaints, they eventually fixed one fridge and the safe, and later the TV. This should not happen at check-in. Cleanliness was a major issue. The floors were dirty, the carpets were not clean, and it honestly seemed like vacuuming or proper cleaning was not practiced at all. I never saw any housekeeping equipment such as a vacuum. Towels and toilet paper were not replenished unless we complained—basic amenities that should be standard in any hotel. Beds were not changed until we raised the issue. We were told that housekeeping is not allowed to enter rooms when guests are not present, which meant nothing was done unless we were physically there and repeatedly asked. Bottled water was also not provided unless we complained again. Throughout the stay, I had to constantly call reception just to get basic services done. This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in where you have to ask for your room to be cleaned. The main problem appears to be housekeeping. The staff were mostly young boys who seemed uninterested, careless, and in some cases rude. Whether they are overworked or underpaid, it clearly reflects in their attitude and performance. When I questioned one staff member about the lack of cleaning, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. In addition, the hotel urgently needs to invest in better-quality linen, duvets, and pillows, as the ones provided were worn out and uncomfortable, which further affected the quality of our stay. Last year, we stayed at Mysk Touch, not far from this hotel, and the difference was night and day—excellent housekeeping, polite staff, and proper management. This hotel needs better training, improved staff manners, stricter supervision, and a manager who actively checks that housekeeping standards are being met. It is a real shame, because with proper management and cleanliness, this hotel could be a very good place to stay. Unfortunately, due to our experience, I would not stay here again.

Absolutely unacceptable experience – avoid at all costs We arrived on time for our booking at Waqf Outhman Bin Affan Hotel, only to be told without any prior notice that our reservation had been moved to a completely different hotel. No explanation, no apology. The staff were incredibly unhelpful and dismissive, showing no regard for customer service or basic respect. This is by far the worst hospitality experience I’ve ever had. I do not recommend this place at all. save yourself the stress and book somewhere else.

The room is clean and well stocked with everything you need (hair dryer, coffee machine, TV, towels, fridge, kettles, bedside tables, wardrobe, hangers and all the essential soaps in the bathrooms). The staff and cleaners provide good service, the location is literally a 2-5 minute walk to gate 326 in masjid nabawi. Our room has a beautiful view of the city.

Disappointing Experience Despite Good Location I would’ve considered staying here again with my family due to the great location near Masjid Nabawi. However, I had an uncomfortable experience with the receptionist. I asked for a bottle of water after returning from the mosque and was refused, only to see her offer water to other guests shortly after. When I raised the issue, she dismissed it. This felt discriminatory and unprofessional. Because of that, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Our recent stay was unfortunately quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay despite having already settled the bill through Booking.com, which was an unusual and inconvenient start. The bathroom in our room had a persistent, unpleasant odor from the drain and toilet. The sink only provided scalding hot water, posing a safety concern for children. Breakfast was consistently stale, limited, and lacked freshness. The hotel receptionists, particularly Baitool, were unprofessional and unhelpful, demonstrating a clear lack of customer service. The sole redeeming quality of this hotel is its excellent location, being just a 10-15 minute walk from Masjid Nabwi.

Receptionists does not show professionalism, and when you ask or tell them something, they laugh and do not help. The restaurant has no fresh food, and they do not replenish food when the trays are finished. I would not stay here again. There are no security tags for baggage.

The key selling point of this hotel is the name of Hazrat Usman. However the overall experience here is very average. The room was very small, the overall look and feel of the room was workout, washroom was also just clean. Reception picks up phone at will so there is mostly no access to room service. The hotel is still sold out however for the amount they charge the value being offered is not much. Booked through booking. Com where the reviews were above average however the experience won't give this place a recommendation....

I’m really disappointed with my experience at this hotel. My brother forgot his key card, so I brought it with me while I was out. When he couldn’t reach me, he went to reception to ask for another key — but they refused to give him one. Instead, they just went up and opened the door for him. This felt humiliating — after paying nearly £100 per night, you’d expect a bit more consideration and basic service. On top of that, the room’s electricity only works when the key card is in the slot, which meant my brother had no power while waiting for me and had to rely on a portable charger. The water pressure in the bathroom was also extremely low, making it hard to take a proper shower. For the price we’re paying, this kind of lack of consideration and inconvenience is unacceptable. Wouldn’t recommend — there are better places for the money.

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, the experience was quite pleasant. The hotel and rooms are lovely, and I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable stay. The cleaners and other staff were really nice and welcoming, which made me feel at ease. However, my experience at check-in was extremely frustrating. The receptionists and the people working at the till were absolutely terrible. When I arrived, they claimed I didn’t have a booking and made me wait around. Even after showing them my booking confirmation and payment, they insisted that someone had taken my key and that I was part of a group—though I had no group leader and wasn’t traveling with anyone. They couldn’t seem to make up their minds and kept giving me conflicting stories. The young lady at the till, who was wearing a hijab, was particularly unhelpful, insisting on things that weren’t true. After a while, I decided to contact my travel agency, and once they reached out to the hotel, the staff suddenly gave me the keys right away—without any real apology or explanation. The staff at the tills were rude, arrogant, and made the check-in process far more stressful than it needed to be. It was a shame because the rest of the hotel was great. In short, if you’re planning to stay here, just be prepared for a potentially frustrating check-in experience, but once you're past that, it’s a nice place with lovely staff elsewhere.
