⭐️ Very disappointing experience. I had a terrible stay at this hotel. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and showed no respect toward guests — even becoming verbally aggressive at times, which made me feel unsafe and forced me to leave early. Parking is also a major issue. Guests are told to park outside with no security, and my car was damaged while parked there. The hotel took no responsibility and offered no help. Overall, the place lacks basic hospitality, professionalism, and safety. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel. Read less

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location . Church of sepulcher is just walking distance . Also, walking distance to unique old Jerusalem streets .Even people in the surrounding streets are nice, helpful. Setting at the cafeteria you will be looking at the old Jerusalem’s wall. People in the cafeteria are the best . They are polite , respectful, and know what the hospitality is.We will go again and again when we visit Jerusalem. Read less

A very simple hotel located just 10 minutes away from Masjid Al Aqsa. The rooms are clean and simple (which if you’re not spending much time in the room, is perfect). The breakfast buffet was very nice too as was the dinner! But the location is what makes it perfect as it is in the hustle and bustle of the old city. Read less

Check-in delayed. No explanation provided. Light burned out in room. Toilet running. Called and the wall plate switch was removed but not replaced. Once replaced, same issue occurred. Toilet seat not attached and could fall off. Was told “nothing we can do.” Fridge cool, not cold. Room was changed after a long day of taking in the sights and being very tired. No offer of help or concession. Breakfast included but one coffee machine for a full hotel with wait times more than 20 mins. People bumping into each other. Tough to sit as chairs hitting one another. 5-star hotel prices at 3-star (at best) accommodations. Will not be returning and do not recommend. Read less

Golden Walls Hotel was a pleasure staying at. The food and service from staff were next to none. Amazing hotel with a modern lounge and dining. Although the bedroom decor was a little outdated, it served its purpose; for sleeping in only. Food was delicious including breakfast and dinner. Options were a little limited but we got the main stuff which was always pleasing to see. Overall an excellent hotel, one I will be using in the future. I’m really disappointed with the hotel and staff. The staff barely speaks English. There were no wash clothes. I had to ask 3 times for a towel. The room was dirty. I had to clean the bathroom sink. The room was unkept. It was cold in the room. I recommend a cleaning staff change.Also, bottled water should be in the room as a gift. One bed had stains on it. The food is good but, always cold. The staff just “cleaned” the room. They didn’t change the sheets. One lady flushed the toilet, didn’t wash her hands and put towels in the room. disgusting! Read less
